Feel free to bring the kids along, as they can play in the enclosed backyard while you grill on the deck's private gas grill. The private washer/dryer will take care of the beach towels while you relax. The full kitchen features a dishwasher and full-size appliances to make mealtimes easier. A ceiling fan in each bedroom guarantees personalized comfort. Come enjoy your own beachy hideaway!

Beach access is at the end of Champlain Street, just over two blocks away. Reach out to Fire Island Water Sports (just under a quarter mile away) if you want to get even further out onto the water. For a change of pace, guests can visit the Sunken Forest (just under two miles away) to hike shady trails and observe one of the last remaining maritime forests on the eastern seaboard. Of course, local restaurants are just a short walk or drive away.

Beach getaway
Our stay was really wonderful. A true beach getaway. The place had everything we needed, was comfortable, spacious. A few minor things arised but the management communicated right away and our vacation time was not effected. Overall, our experience was great.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Lots of damage to the property upon arrival. The stair railing was not attached and dangerous, the blinds were broken and just hanging in the window in a terrible way, the panels on the stove were on the floor, lots of cabinet doors would not close. There was a smell of marijuana coming through the walls from the people living on the other side of the house. Not a good place to have kids, which I had two there.

great location
Just a note, there is now a microwave on the counter which is a big help when staying there with kids. Only thing we wished there was too was a pantry closet or somewhere to put snacks, non refrigerator food etc. Also, one of the couches is a pull-out bed, we had no idea until the second night into our stay, this info would be helpful to be mentioned in the listing :) We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Weekend Getaway with the Girls
This house was a very cute and cozy beach house! Perfect for a weekend getaway with your friends. Location is VERY close to the ferry which is very convenient, a short walk and you're at the house. Also right next to Schooner's which we enjoyed dinner and drinks at. When we arrived at the house, it was moderately clean - we understand it's a beach house and sand will always track in, but we were not impressed by cleanliness when we first arrived. House also smelled heavily of marijuana (no judgements, just trying to accurately review.) Beds were very comfortable. AC unit and a fan in the room - only one light though - and not enough to navigate around. Staircase leading upstairs was a little narrow, but not unnavigatable. Pull out couch mattress was EXTREMELY unforgiving, more akin to a cotton pad on a wire frame. Moved to the couch and slept fine. Could not get overhead ceiling fan to work, didn't hurt the trip was just annoying. Downstairs sink water pressure was extremely high, just cautionary so you don't make the same mistake we did! Overall, happy with the stay with a few minor flaws, but served its purpose as we were out and about on the beach, shops, and bars all day. Thank you!

Simple and Functional
Had a great time at this little cottage. The deck space with a grill is a big plus. The staff was friendly and responsive. All in all a good time! My only "negative" comments are: 1. I wish the bathroom was bigger but it did the job AND they had an outside shower. 2. The air condition was not that effective. (lost a star because of this)
