In a calm and green environment, the Logis St Julien is available at any time of the year. You will appreciate its proximity to the famous tourist site of Bayeux (town at 800meters), known for its tapestry, its animations, its museums, its shopping and its town center as well as its idyllic setting, which combines green countryside and tranquility. Also 7 kilometers from the sea, you can enjoy the joys of swimming and visit the landing beaches.

Wonderful location and beautiful building
This place is a hidden gem just outside the city centre of Bayeux. Lovely peaceful surroundings and a 20/25min stroll to the tourism hotspots. Emmanuelle & Bernard are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Perfect location, delightful property
Extremely quiet, charming converted chapel. All facilities you would expect, sadly no dishwasher or tumble dryer but we made do. Also no bedsheets or towels - you can rent some or remember to bring your own. As a base of operations for exploring it was perfect, Emmanuelle and Bernard communicated well and gave us a warm welcome and then basically left us to get on with it, which is exactly what we wanted.

A lovely hideaway in the French countryside
We had a very relaxing stay at Logis St Julien. The cottage is a converted chapel but is very modern inside, and is located in farmland on the outskirts of Bayeux. It was very quiet and peaceful but only a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of town and the museums. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and especially good at communicating prior to the stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Beauty in the French Countryside
What a charming property! Clean, comfortable and convenient to many historic sites and great eating and shopping. Bernard and Emmanuelle were always available, and even helped out with returning our rental car and calling a taxi. We really enjoyed the farm animals and Eden, the friendly resident dog. I would definitely recommend this place.

Modern and comfortable gite
This is a clean, modern and comfortable gite close to the town of Bayeux. Two double bedrooms, open plan kitchen/dining/sitting area, shower room and separate toilet. Pleasant outside seating area with garden. 5-10 minute walk to local Hypermarket, Bayeux WWII Museum and WWII cemetery. Bayeux cathedral and centre of town approx 20 minute walk. The gite is close to town but has a rural feel, located down a quiet country lane, surrounded by fields. Emmanuel & Bernard are great hosts. They have 2 donkeys, a horse , a cat and a dog called Eden. Eden came and visited us each evening. We had a wonderful week and would definitely like to go back again. Thank you!

Relaxing break on the outskirts of Bayeux
Lovely property down a quiet country lane just outside Bayeux. Well equipped gite with virtually all of the usual appliances with a nice modern shower-room (worth noting you will need to either bring your own bed linen / towels or pay to hire them from the owner). In the field next to the lovely & well kept garden the owner keeps 2 donkeys and a horse, there is a wealth of birds around. The centre of Bayeux is around a 20 -25 minute walk away, with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again

Lovely place, location and owners
Lovely place (a converted chapel) with a good garden, swings and slides for children, a covered seating area and animals (dogs, horses and donkeys) which kept our young children endlessly amused. Feels rural but you can walk into the centre of Bayeux in less than half an hour. There's a hypermarket just a few minutes' drive away and it's easy to get to the Normandy coast and D Day beaches from here. We arrived late on Sunday and hadn't really thought about supermarket opening times. Emmanuelle and Bernard kindly brought us some food. Bernard also made our son's holiday by taking our children up into the cab of his tractor. We had a great time here and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Beautiful Gite in beautiful surroundings.
We really enjoy our stay at Le Logi Saint Julien. It is such a beautiful, clean, spacious Gite in beautiful surroundings. The perfect location to explore Bayeux and the history of the landing beaches. The owners are lovely and friendly and all of their pets are too! Such a relaxing place after driving and exploring every day. We can not fault this beautiful Gite in any way, it is just perfect. The owners were very kind to us and we thank them very much. We were left to enjoy our holiday in peace, however, nothing was too much trouble if we needed it. Tres tres tres tres bon! Merci beaucoup.

Une oasis de tranquillité
C'est une propriété charmante. Un emplacement paisible et historique à la campagne, tout près de Bayeux. Emmanuel et Bernard sont des hôtes très sympathiques et nous avons apprécié la compagnie de leurs merveilleux animaux. Bravo Eden !! Nous recommandons cette propriété comme base pour explorer cette magnifique région. This is a lovely gite. Once an old chapel the owners have modernised it tastefully to a very good standard. There are two double bedrooms upstairs and a full kitchen and bathroom downstairs which contains a very good shower. Situated within a kilometre of Bayeux but in the countryside it provides the best of both worlds and a great base for exploring this most historic region. The owners Bernard and Emmanuelle are very nice people and their menagerie of animals are great fun something children would particularly enjoy. We had a lovely time here and will certainly consider it again the next time we visit the area.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la location est agréable, les propriétaires sont charmants. Notre fille a apprécié la balançoire, la présence de Jaspee et kermesse. C est à endroit à la campagne et à la ville. Beaucoup de ballades, de visites et plages à découvrir. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Ein idyllischer Urlaubsort
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Es war schön ruhig und idyllisch. Und vor allem in einem schönen,französischen Flair. Die Kinder fanden das Pferd und den Esel im Hintergarten toll. Außerdem war es ein super Ort, um von dort aus Ausflüge zu unternehmen.

Sehr nettes Domizil in ruhiger Lage und trotzdem nicht weit nach Bayeux. Ideal gelegen für Ausflüge in die Umgebung mit dem Fahrrad. Leider gestaltete sich die Anfahrt wegen fehlender/ungenauer Adressangabe etwas schwierig, genaue Koordinaten: 49,27700°N, 0,72970°W
