"This house has a beautiful design with the feel of a cabin. The walls inside are of a gorgeous color of wood. The kitchen is well supplied except for towels. Our favorite experiences were the hot tub, the sauna, the fire pit, and the cozy living spaces where we played games and watched Netflix. However, the hot tub was not hot on the first evening when we were excited to get right in. It took all night until the next day to get it up to a hot enough temperature. There are not enough towels for everyone, and they are old and a bit smelly. Bring your own towels. The "Master Bedroom" is not a bedroom, but a basement living space with a king bed in it. There are no doors, so if you are hoping for some private time with your partner while the other guests are asleep upstairs, forget it (unless you don't care if people walk in on you and hear you). The Netflix is programmed in Spanish. I killed two large spiders and a wasp during our two-night stay. I guess that's living in the woods, though? This is not a property for young families with babies/toddlers/strollers or old people. The only way to access the upstairs and the basement is by using the treacherous spiral staircases. Not a problem for the young and spry. The driveway is incredibly steep. Don't go if there's even a threat of snow or ice. The location is far away from restaurants or good hiking trails. There's a poorly marked 7-mile trail nearby but we had some family arguments about getting lost out there."
