The Space:
Your home for the week has everything you need to enjoy the outdoor/indoor lifestyle of The Berkshires. Situated on over two acres you can go on a hike right from the back yard or make your way to the Appalachian Trail, not too far from the house.
The large and inviting kitchen is the perfect place to gather after a day exploring. Renovated and ready for you to make home cooked meals including a gas stove.
Well stocked kitchen with all the necessary cooking/serving items including cookware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs and silverware. Ninja twelve cup coffee maker for the coffee lovers in your group!
There are two seats at the counter and in a separate dining room there is seating for six. Plenty of space for all to enjoy home cooked meals!
The living room has a large Smart TV with streaming capabilities. You can log into your streaming apps on the TV such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. There's a wood burning fireplace - while a couple of starter logs may be available, it is recommended to bring your own firewood for the best experience. There's also a comfortable solarium/mud room for more relaxing.
In total, there are two bedrooms plus a loft to accommodate up to six guests during your stay. For easy planning, here are the bedroom layouts:
Second level master: one king size bed
Main level bedroom: one queen size bed
Lofted area: two twin rollaway beds
Living room has a couch that pulls outs to be a full size bed
There are two (2) full bathrooms. There is one bathroom on the first floor and one on the second floor. The first floor bath has a walk in shower and the upstairs bathroom has a full jetted tub and shower.
Outdoors is where you can truly experience the house. Situated on two private acres you can enjoy either the back yard with deck and gas grill or the two acres of woods where you can go on long hikes. There are also two front lawns and plenty of Adirondack chairs that can be moved around.
Other things to note:
-Central air to keep you cool.
-The master bedroom features a jetted tub.
-Four stairs to the front door and sunken living room, first floor bedroom makes it easy for those with limited mobility.
-Second level of house is carpeted, rest of the house has beautiful, natural hardwood floors.
-Parking available on the driveway for 2-3 cars and attached two car garage.
-Hotel quality linens and towels, as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash all provided for our guests.

The Neighborhood:
Becket is a rustic town nestled in the heart of the Berkshires. Stockbridge, Lee, Great Barrington, and many more lovely towns are all a short ride away. We provide a guestbook with plenty of recommendations on what to see, what to do, and where to dine in the area.
YEAR-ROUND ACTIVITIES
Summer—Kayak, paddle boat, swim, and fish in nearby lake; visit Jacob’s Pillow just 10 minutes down the road
Autumn—Leaf peeping, fire pit s'mores, and plenty of nearby hiking or enjoying music at Tanglewood (30 minutes from the house)
Winter—Downhill and cross-country skiing (Otis Ridge is 10 minutes away), snowshoeing, skating on the frozen lake, and cozy time by the fireplace
Spring—Long walks, barbecues on the deck, and quiet time in the solarium.

No sweat on accidental & reported damage! Your rental includes an accidental reported damage waiver fee up to a maximum of $800. The cost to repair any accidental and reported damage to the rented property including any missing or broken items up to a maximum of $800 will be covered at no charge to you as long the damage is reported to your Host before you depart.
*Damage caused by pets is not covered by the accidental damage waiver.
