My only negative VRBO review ever
The condo was dirty when we arrived. No fans, no ceiling fans, no screens on the windows & the musty mildewy smell was overwhelming. All 6 in our party struggled to breathe inside the condo, & a couple of us still have nasty coughs. Spending time on the porch was not much of an option. Evidence of rodents gnawing on the wood was everywhere. Obviously a drunk monkey was employed to design & build the steps & porch; one member of our party & at least one member of the party upstairs fell on the unstable & unlevel steps. We were given instructions to load & start the dishwasher on departure. We did so, but without detergent; not a single pod was available. Empty the trash: no replacement bags. I will say that the kitchen was well equipped, more so than most rentals.

Overpriced for size and quality
I have stayed at many vrbo properties and I don't believe I have ever had to leave a negative review. But this place was way overpriced for what you got. There were dishes we had to clean because they weren't properly cleaned, the main window in the living room was filthy with handprints and smudges all over it, and the warming pan under the oven had mouse droppings. If the price matched the quality of the home then I wouldn't have even left a review, but to be so tiny and lack cleanliness, I was very disappointed.

Winterplace vacation
The place was great! Lots of kitchen gear for our meals, places to hang snow gear, and plenty extra blankets and towels for 6. We really enjoyed being so close to the slopes, unfortunately the weather wasn't as cooperative. Warmer Temps meant that we had to walk through a grass and muddy area to reach the slopes. Gorgeous sunrises easily seen while sitting on the couch.

We were not aware that we only rented lower level of house. The driveway was gravel and not real big, we had 2 vehicles and the other tenants had 3 and a motorcycle. It was hard to get in and out. We were cold and couldn't get the thermostat to shut off the air. The instructions said wifi password was on router and the router was in the upstairs, I called and the lady was really helpful and told me it was on a chalkboard instead. The smoke detector was beeping, the maintained man called and we told him we had taken it down to stop the noise. The contact people were very responsive and polite and friendly. All the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms were hard to open and close, seemed to be swollen and made noise everytime you opened or closed one made a lot of noise so it woke others up if you tried to move around early. It was not a good option for us.

We enjoyed our stay. Only two suggestions- 1. More comfortable seating in living room area. 2. Heat did not work well (cold air blowing out of vent even though unit said it was heating). We used small space heater in unit for heat. Thankfully we were there during summer. Overall the place worked well for our family.

Family ski trip
My husband and I stayed at this property 20 years ago, and we were able to bring our family back this year. The property is centrally located close to everything. You put your skis on right off the porch and ski down to the lift. Great set up. My kids are now saying this is one of their favorite trips ever! Definitely will be booking again!

Great location and clean
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. That being said there are some things you should know. Though there are plenty of tools in the kitchen there are no spices or anything. Not even salt and pepper. You have to bring everything. Beds comfortable enough but you can definitely hear people walking around upstairs. We had an issue with heat not working, fortunately it wasn't cold that night. Though the property manager was very polite and kind, they couldn't manage to get anyone there to fix it. Correspondence afterwards was good though and they compensated us. There was an electric space heater we used to get through the night. Again, great location right by slope and lodge so all in all worth it.

This worked out well for our extended family, all adults this trip. We were right on the slopes and enjoyed the convenience of being able to pop in an out easily. The back bedrooms got a bit chilly at night, but it was 12 degrees outside both nights, so not too bad really. We brought a few things (extra crock pots, paper plates & such) and appreciated the kitchen stuff that was there. Overall, this was our 2nd stay at this chalet and we'll probably go back next year.

Everything was exactly as described. The only things I would mention are: The heat on the grill is not well distributed, making it difficult to grill to perfection but was in working order. And, being on the bottom floor and having occupants above is noisy, as expected. For the owners : We love the added rails and deck!

For what I paid for this place.
For what I paid for this place- the worst beds every to sleep in. Then only 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels. And then 1 little TV. No I will not rent this property again. And the walls and floor are so thin you could hear the people upstairs all night walking around. No sleep. Out dated stove and dishwasher. You couldn’t run the dishwasher if you wanted to watch the tiny TV, the dishwasher was to loud. The picture you see of this place is very deceiving of the size of the living room. They fisheyed the picture.😥

Great location! Within a few miles of the Lilly’s family reunion!
Although a little pricey for “off season” summer rates; Overall we thought this place is not only a great location, but a great rental! We stayed here with some family from AL for our family reunion. The outside deck was a nice place for us to gather and catch up. The rental was clean and the fully stocked kitchen was great for cooking breakfast. My one and ONLY complaint is that there are no vent fans in either bathroom OR the kitchen which surprised me a little... Just an added side note to any future renters; be aware of the steps leading up to the door...there are several! For most people they won’t be a problem but we had an elderly family member that struggled a little every time we left and came back. Would definitely recommend! 👍

Not exactly what we needed
We moved two days prior to our checkout, because the property next door was burglarized. We noticed a broken window and an upstairs door wide open and called 911 to check the home. Apparently according to the police there have been several in that area and we were not comfortable staying after that situation. The owner agreed to refund us for those two days, but we have not received any Notifcations yet. We were also traveling for work and the internet was very slow. We used our data on our phones the best we could to do what we had to do. The AC didn’t quite cool the place enough to sleep comfortable at night, so we ended up buying fans for the rooms which helped some. There was only 3 food options on the exit which were Subway and two pizza places.

Great location
This rental is the perfect location for skiing. We rented all 3 levels for a family trip. Although it seemed strange to have separate entrances for each level it allowed for some privacy if needed. There are a lot of steps to access the units so if you are disabled it would be a problem. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We would rent again for sure.
