visit to Halifax and area
We were gathering from out of town for a neice's wedding - lots of family from the area to visit with too - and wanting to be able to see some of the hilights from the area. Unfortunately, some of our moving around was limited by stormy weather even a little bit of hurricane Lee, but the location - secluded and still near highways - was great for getting around to Halifax and Dartmouth and eventually a side trip to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. The home itself was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, especially with a power generator when the power grid went out. It would be an exaggeration to call it luxurious, but it was perfect for our needs - 6 adults.
