This place is an excellent value. Judge it fairly considering its low price. It is well located within walking distance to many historical locations. Rooms are small but clean. They are sufficient for a traveler on a budget. Breakfast is included. The property is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly but speak only Spanish. While I was there in late December, 2019, there was a lot of civil unrest. 2 nights it was within a few blocks of the hotel. I never felt in any danger, but I never stayed out late. Would I stay there again? Yes. It is clean, friendly, well located, and economical.

Good Hotel in Santiago
The hotel is located in a quiet area of the city but within a walking distance to the center. It offers a breakfast. The personnel is friendly an helpful. It is close to Patio Bellavista with plenty of restaurants

Small place with excellent location
On the edge of all the nightlife action close to the Metro but still very quiet. I stay here mainly for the location because it is in the middle of town and small and comfortable.

Horrible place! Trust me!
Noise from staff watching tv and laughing loud all night. When people rang the bell to check in you hear everything too. Shower overflow and was not fixed. Terrible I wouldn't come back even if my life depended on it.

Update to October 2016 Review
This is an update to my previous review. I stayed at this charming hotel in October 2016. I was very pleased with the hotel until I thought money was stolen from my hotel room. Two months later I found the money. I immediately contacted Expedia to find out how I could correct my review of the hotel. Unfortunately, I was informed that there was no way to remove it or update it. I finally found out that I could post another review. I send my deepest apologies to the hotel owner and the staff. I sincerely hope that my previous review hasn't negatively impacted the hotel in any way. The staff were quite helpful and kind. The room was small but adequate for my needs. The hotel is in a pleasant neighborhood and conveniently located near the metro. It's a great place to stay!

Unacceptable because inaccessible
I was unable to stay there because they only had second floor rooms available up a steep winding staircase and no elevator. They were unable to find me an alternative and only agreed to let Expedia refund part of what we paid so I lost out completely. Expedia should demand to know whether hotels are accessible or not and post that.

Disappointing
Initially, I was pleased with this hotel. It is charming, clean, close to the metro and some of the staff were very helpful. The room was small, but that wasn't an issue for me. I stayed at this hotel for a week, but I was scheduled to stay for another 5 days. I left prematurely because 60000.00 pesos (equivalent to $90.00 ) was stolen from my room. There was no signs of a break in. At this hotel, you're required to leave the key at the front desk when you're away from the hotel. Only the staff have access to the key. The money that was stolen was quite hidden, so the staff member who took it had plenty of time to go through all my belongings to find it. When I informed the owner, she told me that she "trusts her employees" and stated that I must have misplaced the money. Her response was very upsetting. I didn't feel safe to continue staying at this hotel and requested to cancel the remainder of my stay. With the assistance of Expedia, the owner refunded the remaining days that I was scheduled to stay at the hotel. While I was relieved to be able to cancel with a full refund, I had to quickly locate another place to stay for the remainder of my trip.

Overpriced like all Chilean hotels
Nothing in the pictures resembles the reality. The room was small, the furniture old, the floors very dirty under the beds. The shower tap broke down and water started bursting, so it had to be fixed. Breakfast is OK but nothing flash. Some staff tried to be helpful but others were unfriendly. This hotel is not value for the money they charge, like most hotels in Chile, it is overpriced and overrated.

Not a bad place to stay! Comfortable enough. Reception staff were friendly with some English spoken. Great place to stay if you're on a budget. Close to Barrio Bellavista and but a little further from the sights, still within walking distance. Not too far from Las Condas for shopping.

The breakfast was wonderful,eggs,bread,cheeses,meats,coffee,juice etc. They offered more scrambled eggs if you wanted it.All the front desk people were friendly and helpful. Would definetly recommend this hotel!

Best little hotel in Bellavista
Loved this hotel! It was on a quiet residential street that wasn't far from the craziness of Bellavista. It was cozy & clean & all around extremely comfortable. It had all the perks you need, quiet, wifi, cleanliness, free breakfast, and an amazing location.
