Exactly as described! No internet. No cell service. A nice, quiet retreat in the mountains, but still close enough to access all that the Santa Cruz mountain area has to offer. Overall, a great way to escape the grind and take a real vacation away from electronic distractions.

Great cabin in the redwoods
Beautifully designed little cabin with every detail considered. The setting in the Santa Cruz mountains is peaceful and lovely. Convenient to restaurants, groceries and Henry Cowell State Park, and 20 minutes from Santa Cruz. Perfect.

Wonderful Cabin
This cabin was one of the most hospitable places we've stayed. Every time we needed something, it was there. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. The cabin was clean and well designed. We enjoyed the unique elements of the cabin, too. The location is incredible - surrounded by redwoods and tanoaks. It is peaceful and quiet. There are a picnic table and a nice bench to the side of the cabin that look out into the forest with an uninterrupted view. The only shortcoming of the property is that the view from the cabin porch to the forest is interrupted by a couple of tarp covered storage structures. despite that, we would consider staying there again.

Checkin was easy and painless, the cabin itself is quiet and very relaxing. It had a full kitchen and we were able to prepare groceries there without issue. The road to get in/out seemed daunting, but our two wheel drive rental car made it fine even during intense rain. Michael was a great host and I would absolutely stay here again!

Redwood Retreat
The "Tiny House" had all the tiny touches one could ask for. Only thing missing was wifi, but I wanted a get away, so I was fine with it. Really thoughtful set up in the house with good cooking and coffee making tools. The host was quick to respond when I had an issue with the propane for the grill. The view from the front deck looks out to some untidy storage type sheds, but it was in the trees, and I was super happy about that. I watched many squirrels and some deer came up the driveway to say hello. The location was walkable to the town of Ben Lomond and a quick 10 min drive to Felton where you can go on some nice hikes and explore the Redwoods. One note: I have T-Mobile and had really spotty, unreliable reception, so if you are looking to use a hotspot with T-mobile, it may not work. The host says he has ATT and it is fine. Just something to know before you go. Overall, a great getaway retreat for a few days and would definitely go back!

Just a great experience. The cabin has everything you need for a getaway. And that’s what this place is…a getaway. Although we had cell service (AT&T), while we could call and text, don’t expect a strong enough feed to do remote work or stream TV. That was fine with us, for our getaway, and we’d gladly return.

The location is perfect just far enough out of town and close enough to all you need . Very well set up studio very clean and tidy . The kitchen had all the necessary items to make a meal . Will definitely stay next time we are in the area .

Michael's place was a lovely getaway for me and my partner. The kitchen was great for our culinary creations. Loved the outdoorsy bathroom, and the bed was comfy. We could really tell the care that was put into designing and appointing the space. We'll definitely return!

Beautiful location in the redwoods. Incredible attention to detail throughout the property and kitchen was nicer than our kitchen at home! We were glad we had 4 wheel drive for the long gravel driveway. We had a great stay and hope to return.

Best experience from start to finish. Perfect little place tucked up in the woods. Driveway is a little steep and there's no curtains on the inside so....... Get comfy with being naked and having windows for the world to meet lil John. Overall the best tucked in little place for a perfect get away. 5 stars in my eyes.

Small and not fancy, but cute enough. Great location and it was great having the privacy it gave us. No wifi (and barely cell service for me) plus a difficult gravel driveway with a significant grade and curves and definitely things you want to keep in mind.

Private cabin nestled in Redwood Magical Forest
Wow! The attention to detail inside and out of this place was remarkable. My partner and I enjoyed two beautiful summer nights in this cozy cabin. The property has a ton of natural light. Big trees and views. Very close to restaurants, shops and amazing hiking trails. The owners communication when needed was refreshing & appreciated. We will be back again!

Super friendly and accommodating host. We kept missing the driveway but it was so nice once we got inside and settled in. Really nicely organized, small and efficient layout. Comfy bed (hubby is 220+ and I’m 140+ ) for us. Good stock of necessities especially coffee and tea. Good reading lights. Have to get used to no window coverings in bathroom which you dont even need! Compost barrel yes! Area is quiet and great- close to but far enough from town.

Quiet weekend getaway!
This cabin was the perfect fit for our weekend getaway from the city! It’s located about 25 minutes away from Santa Cruz and the cabin itself was great to unwind from the busyness of the city. To note, there isn’t Wi-Fi so plan to download any movies or tv shows to watch during your downtime. The entrance to the cabin is a little hidden, but if you keep your eyes out for it, it’s easy to spot. The kitchen was equipped with all your needs and the grill was perfect for our Friday night steak dinner :) I highly recommend checking this place out if you need to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the weekend.

Cute, but….
This place is super cute inside, clean, and in a quiet spot. I would say it’s suitable for one person if you want to escape wifi, but the bed was super uncomfortable for two people, basically like sleeping in a hammock with two. We left a day early because of it:(. The host was pretty unresponsive through check in, didn’t really leave instructions, and thought the bed was fine, even though in our opinion it ruined the stay. Driveway is hard to find, steep, loose, gravel, dark etc, and the view from the deck is a bunch of tarped storage things. Not the best experience overall:( Could have been resolved with better customer service, oh well.
