A beautiful, luxury traditional Spanish style villa which has been fully renovated to the highest of standards which sits on a large secure south facing plot with boasting both panoramic sea views and spectacular unobstructed views of Mount Calamorro mountain.

This is a large spacious villa ideal for large families or several sharing without feeling overcrowded

A car is not necessary due to the proximity of the villa to 2 large local supermarket 180 meters away ( downhill) and bus stop with 4 buses at regular intervals allowing you either explore up to the Pueblo (5 minutes)and the stunning white washed village of Mijas Pueblo or in the opposite direction to Arroyo ( very much a Cosmopolitan town), the Beach, Marina, Torremolinos or further along to Malaga

The villa is situated within a 5 minute walk of Benalmadena Golf, par 3, 9 hole course with driving range, pro golf shop and outdoor bowling green and beautiful restaurant with panoramic views from the terrace towards the coast

There are several local restaurants and bars within a 5 -10 minute walk of the villa on your way down towards Arroyo town centre and train station (15 minutes walk) passing by the Cable Car ride

Both Public and Private hospitals are only 5 minutes away

Many Championship golf courses are all within 20-60 minutes drive from the Villa

What a fabulous villa. We were a family of 8 with ages from 4 years to 61 years and we all had the most wonderful time with the pool being the biggest hit. The villa was spotless and very spacious with plenty of little seating areas. The area was very quiet and the views were spectacular. The pool was heated which was great for evening swims and when it was a wee bit cooler. Only down side is not suitable if you have mobility issues. All in all fabulous villa, definitely recommend and hopefully we’ll be back someday.

A lovely villa best suited to guests without mobility problems and definitely not for toddlers! Situated on a steep hill (which we knew about) but the surrounding area and streets are also very challenging - no way could we push a stroller round to get a two year old to sleep! Had to resort to car rides for that. Also a lot of stairs in the property which was a problem for one of the adults and we had to constantly watch the toddler. One problem that was out of our control was the noise from a large mixed party of adults who were staying at a neighbouring property. Loud music most afternoons and twice at 2 am when they returned from town. That being said we had a good time and the villa is really comfortable and well equipped. We think a coffee machine using pods would be a great idea, not fond of filter machines.... Swimming pool was well used and very clean. Mercadona down the hill is well stocked - you need a car really to get the beer up that hill! All in all a highly recommended holiday property for able bodied guests and older children.

Our stay was fabulous the accommodation was beautiful. The area was quiet so a good nights sleep was had by all. However I was charged an additional £20 for a single bed sheet and a hand towel that apparently had cab on it?? We were totally unaware of this?? but I had already had insurance with VRBO in place for any damages which I will be claiming back.

Stayed at this villa for a week, the last week of August. A family of 9 adults. We had the most amazing time. The villa was well equipped. The size of the villa was ideal with us all, we had ample space and didn’t feel we were on top of each other at any time. The bedrooms are lovely, and the lounge area is really spacious. We had everything we needed in the kitchen which was great when cooking in the villa. The pool area is amazing, we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the lovely weather. I would not recommend heating the pool in the height of summer as it was ideal to get into a cooler pool when so hot. It never got that cold. The villa is situated towards the top of a steep hill. Not an issue going down but coming up was a bit of a work-out. There is a mercadona supermarket at the bottom of the hill which had everything we needed shopping wise and a LIdl about 10 minutes walk away. They do have a shopping trolley in the villa which we found really useful, saved us carrying the shopping. Not many bars close to the villa, it was about a 15 minute walk to get the closest bars/shops. We used Uber and Bolt to get about as we didn’t hire cars. Uber and bolt were ideal, no issues at all. We spent most of our evenings in Belamadena. We had the most amazing time and would definitely recommend this villa. Thank you for a lovely family holiday.

Our stay was great with small treats of water, bread, cakes and Milk due to our late arrival. Villa was well portioned for 3 family's, with every room having Air conditioning. This Villa as also been modernized through out, giving you that real homely feel! Outside was also spacious, this being the garden, Pool and dining area, with BBQ, plus the whole Villa was completely enclosed. However a few opportunities can be added, such as a seating area to the pool with a fridge to reduce all the running up and down the stairs and the Pool person to arrive a little later to reduce noise when topping the pool up (Totally understand this is needed).

Amazing, just amazing
I stayed at the villa with 5 other female friends for my 50th birthday and we were all wowed. So much so, we are planning a trip back for a reunion in 2 years. Hopefully it will still be available! It made me so happy that I had selected such a wonderful villa for my friends to stay in. It truly exceeded my expectations. The villa is beautiful. Very spacious with lots of outdoor seating areas and a fabulous pool. It had everything we needed. The kitchen with its double fridge and freezers provided lots of refrigeration for all our food, drink and ice requirements. All of which was purchased from the supermarket at the bottom of the road. The beds are extremely comfortable and having air conditioning in each bedroom was a bonus, especially as we all liked our rooms to be different temperatures. The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers and a lemon tree which all added to the ambience of this wonderful villa. Parking is easy right outside the villa and access to the A7 is only a few minutes away. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops if you come to the bottom of the road, turn left and walk/drive straight down. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa. You will love it.

Fantastic Villa!
Just spent 10 days at this villa and had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for more with everything we needed being there. The little touches including the basics you need without having to shop on arrival (including a massive bag of fresh oranges) were gratefully received. The pool was such a good size and both adults and kids alike had fun. The only surprise, considering everything else was sorted for us was that the owners couldn’t arrange better weather……only kidding, the weather gods weren’t kind to us but it didn’t spoil a great holiday.

Absolutely amazing property. Plenty of space to gather as a group or find some space for alone time. The pool is large so we could all fit in and have some fun. Even long enough to fit a few lengths in, if you are feeling fit. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is exceptionally well stocked and well priced, no need to travel to others. We had a car but the local taxis were easy to hire and cheap when required. Location good for cable car, old town and marina. Communication with owner/rental company excellent. Would definitely visit again.

The villa is lovely. It has everything you’d need for a comfortable holiday. Great facilities, comfortable beds, lovely and clean throughout and a fab pool area. There is a good supermarket at the end of the road with a good selection for your shopping. Only downside for us was that it was a fair distance from the main strip/marina which took us 20 minutes to drive. Uber got us there quicker and was 12€ each way so not a deal breaker. The villa was still the best we’ve stayed at and we’ve been to a fair few. Happy holidays

Its quite hard to put into words how impressed and pleased we were with our stay at VillaMeridiana. From the inital booking and correspondence with the firm running the booking, to how accurate the place was shown and described as. This stay was nothing short of absolutely fantastic. Arrived earlier than the villa was ready and was messaged prior that we could drop our luggage off in anticipation of staying at the villa. Upon arriving later on we were all in awe of how impressive and modern this villa was. The overall space and design of the property was perfect for our family, 9 of us split between the rooms. The property was immaculately clean and had everything you could possibly need for a week long stay, with nobody having any issues at all that i can think of! The welcome message and pack was a lovely treat also! Once settled we went to the local supermarket which is located down the bottom of cardiac hill, fine going down. Much harder going back up!! But a few stops on the way and you will be fine! Pool is fantastic! Was cleaned most days and was a much needed respite from the 36 degrees heat. Similarly the air con was brilliant. Each room was cooled as needed with the living room one being much stronger than the rest, which was a safe haven. We got ubers from the villa to the marina and surrounding areas as we didnt hire a car. Worked out between 7 and 12 euros per car per trip which we were fine with as we didnt go out every single evening. Would 100% recommend!

An amazing villa
The villa is fantastic the area is so quiet and peaceful and there is everything in the villa that you could possibly need. There is a well stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill and a bigger supermarket a little further on. If you don’t have young people or strapping fit guests the hill up to the road to the villa is so steep. A little car would be advantageous if necessary. The Ubers are cheap and very reliable wherever you want to go and can recommence this villa 100% we had an amazing time

Loved everything about the villa, 2 minor issues, the air con unit wasn't throwing out much heat in the main bedroom, and it was really cold in there when we stayed in February, maintenance man did come out but it was still not warm enough, a small heater would have gone down well. And secondly the villa was a lot further away from the marina area than we thought it would be, had to hire Uber's every night which was a pain. We would look for somewhere nearer next time,

The villa is beautiful and great for two families staying due to the room lay out. It is spacious, clean and in a great location near many attractions and a supermarket a few minutes walk. Debbie the owner responded quickly and efficiently and we had a really wonderful time. We hired a car which is important. Our only improvements are the heating via the aircon units, as they have sensors and turn off at night so the children’s rooms dropped to 14deg. Communication via the management company was a bit tricky and needed prompting plus our travel cot was broken. The pool could use a cover to trap the heat as it’s very cold air in January. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place, kitchen fully equipped and the beds are oh so comfy.

This home was centrally located to get to many sites as well as just a short cab ride to restaurants and local fun. Heated pool was a huge bonus in the fall! The host was outstanding responding within minutes of any concerns or questions we had. We rented a car for day excursions I think that is essential but grocery store was a short walk and great restaurants were a short cab ride away. We were just two couples but it is the perfect size for 4 couples

Our Stay - September 2022
Just got back from our lovely holiday in Benalmadena. The villa was perfect for our group, which contained 8 adults and 1 toddler. The villa was extremely clean on arrival and we were accommodated when we arrived slightly ahead of planned check in. With the property manager allowing us to drop our heavy cases in before the actual check in. The villa is very modern and every room is decorated and fitted out to a high standard. The BBQ area also went down a treat, with us spending a couple of nights catering in the villa too. The pool area was also fantastic, plenty big enough for our group and great that there is the option to heat it , just to take the edge off slightly. The lime tree in the garden was a big hit on the beverage front. We found the location of the villa to be really useful, as it was pretty much between the beach/marina area and the old town, so it was ideal for us to split our time between the two. “Cardiac hill” was a bit tricky but luckily we were fit enough to perform the local shop run to get villa supplies. A taxi may be required in some peoples circumstances but honestly it’s only a slight concern and the view at the top is worth it! We used both the local supermarket and the Lidl, both were within 10-15 mins walk away. The only slight issue we had was with the address of the villa, with the private mini bus transfer struggling to locate. Most local taxis were also a little unsure initially too so just worth confirming with the property manager before booking any travel. Can’t go wrong with “near the big lidl up the mountain in Vera Cruz” Quick tip from our stay… the Lemon Tree pub seemed like the closest pub/cafe to the villa and was within 10 mins walk. Ideal spot for quenching your thirst when waiting for the villa to be ready for us to check in or nipping out for an impromptu lunch All in all the villa and experience was amazing and we would certainly holiday in this property again! Thanks to all of the Villa Meridiana team!

Great villa
I'll start by saying that this is a fantastic villa and we would love to return. We had a wonderful holiday. The villa is immaculate, very clean and the inside is exceptionally well presented. There was a large selection of DVDs that went down well with the children when it got too hot outside; the lounge was really comfortable and well air conditioned. Beds are so comfortable, slept like a log every night! The kitchen was fairly well equipped although more than one tea towel would have been useful but that's being very picky! We had a couple of small issues whilst we were there but they were dealt with very quikcly. We really liked the location, supermarket literally at the bottom of a very very steep hill! Taxis were easy to come by and only took 5 mins to arrive from calling. The outside space is wonderful. Pool is a great size and the gardens beautiful. We loved all the different areas that you could sit in, so many terraces that we never felt on top of each other. I've given 4 stars instead of 5 because the one area that I felt really let this beautiful villa down was the outside furniture. The sun loungers are plastic and there are no cushions so they aren't all that comfortable to sunbath on. The cushions on the beautiful wicker furniture on the upstairs terrace have seen better days and were quite saggy and dirty. The villa had two parasols but they were small, flimsy beach ones and didn't provide enough shade plus they were too small for the base and kept coming out and flying away. Lastly the table by the pool only had 4 chairs....we bought one of the benches down from the other seating area but a bigger table and more chairs would have been better.

Amazing family holiday in a stunning villa
Just back from an amazing two week stay in this beautiful villa. We were a family of 10 with ages ranging from 5 to 75 and everyone had a fabulous time. Communication while enquiring, booking and in the lead up to and during the holiday was faultless. Emily who met us when we arrived was lovely and answered any questions we had. The villa is really well decorated and the beds are so comfortable. There is plenty of space for everyone to either sit together or find some quiet time in your own space. The pool was a perfect size and the kids spent most of the time playing in there. The location of the villa is great. So close to the airport but no noise from from aircraft while at the villa. Within a minute walk to the supermarket which was so convenient. The walk back up is up a very steep hill, this was fine for most of us but you might struggle if unstable on your feet. Taxis are easy to get so this isn’t an issue. About a 10 minute bus ride to the old town with beautiful restaurants and cobbled streets. In the evenings we got a bus into town and then got a taxi home. All in all a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic property
You get the wow factor has soon has you walk through the door. Emily was on hand when we got there to explain everything about the Villa and the area. The Villa did not disappoint

Lovely villa - may want a car
The villa was spacious and clean with extremely comfortable beds. Supermarket nearby, but most things to visit were a car ride away and for large groups (9 in our case) taxis works out expensive. Plenty of shady areas outside the villa, but the air conditioning was a necessity at this time of year, and worked well. Children loved the dolphins and penguins at the nearby park, but hiring you own catamaran and swimming in the sea off of that was probably the overall highlight for all ages. Would not hesitate to return to this villa but for us not without a hired car, or cars.

Wonderful stay at the Villa
We had a lovely time as a family of ten at the Villa. The views from the balcony are great, pool excellent and outside areas all very relaxing. The beds are all amazingly comfortable with contemporary furnishings. I found the communication between myself and the property manger was good and found her to be extremely helpful. It is located up a steep hill with a supermarket just at the bottom of the road. All in all we had a lovely family holiday at the Villa and would recommend it to anyone.
