The lady that checked me in, did not disclose the pool status, and told me I had checked in online prior to arrival. She seemed to not listen when I spelled my name and still had trouble finding my information after I presented my Driver’s license.
This was a quick trip for a medical procedure but the room was very comfortable and we loved the kitchenette which had a great fridge. We also loved the curtain between the couch and beds for some added privacy. The breakfast was outstanding!
This hotel is severely understaffed. They do not answer the phone if you call from your room and if you go down to the desk they cannot help with things like blankets or towels or how to get rid of garbage. There is no housekeeping. I stayed three days and repeatedly asked for a place to throw my garbage, new towels, a blanket for the pullout couch with zero results. My daughter took the bed and I took the couch and covered up with a towel. They couldn’t replace keys. The desk was often unmanned. I cannot believe I spend almost $600/night for the worst hotel experience of my life.
We booked through Expedia. But when we arrived, it was sold out. They would not honor our reservation now did they call us to let us know that Expedia overbooked. No apologies from staff. Terrible customer service IMO. A single phone call doesn’t seem like too much to ask from Hilton or Expedia to inform us of the overbooking.
