Restaurant was good , bar service was good. Upon check in at 4:30 was told my room wasn’t available, they had to put me in a room with a bunch of bunk beds . I reserved a room with 2 queens and a view. Ended up with a room with 2 bunk beds and a view of construction in the parking lot. Wasn’t able to check in until 6:30 pm. Wasn’t what I had expected on a Monday night. Heater ran for 15 mins , off for 30 seconds then on again all night long. Finally shut it off altogether. Had higher expectations. These are the kinds of things you’d expect at a motel 6

Restaurant was great, allowing us to bring our dog in. Food a little expensive. Room needs maintenance, sliding door wheels broken. Rooms have no sound protection , people hollaring and loud constantly till 11pm, then Randomly. Twice at 2 and then 4am a drunk tried forcing the door handle into the room. We have another reservation, its getting canceled, we wont be back.

Hoped it had been better!
We’ve always loved our visits here at the River House… but not this time ! When we arrived, our room was not ready… so we went and get coffee, then they texted us our room was ready after our long travels. We took everything up to the room, which was it the room we booked. We had booked way in advance for a king bed and they gave us two queens. Once we got in the room, I tried to call the office. The phone in the room did not work. They assured me if I waited for a while they could get me my king bed unfortunately we had a family function to go to, so I accepted the room with two queen beds. The next morning, we got up and used the coffee machine in the room to make coffee and it dripped all over the counter and all over my paperwork. Needless to say stay was less than perfect!
