Riverhouse on the Deschutes describes this property perfectly with beautiful rapids running directly through it. The rooms have outdoor patios with fire pits or balconies that overlook the river, and the natural landscaping of pine trees, rocks and native plants give the lodge an authentic woodsy atmosphere. The restaurant was great, the staff accommodating, the decor appealing and the rooms comfortable.

Lovely location right on the river with easy driving access to downtown and other areas of Bend. Room was clean and very large, but they’re having issues with cigarette smokers in the rooms - the hallways smelled terrible!
