The building was constructed in the mid-19th century, and is located on Bendigo‘s most beautiful street.

Featuring high ceilings and original polished Baltic pine floorboards, with an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area, it is elegantly furnished with beautiful Australian-made furniture, including a Moran Chesterfield sofa and Featherston Numero IV chairs.

Both bedrooms are equipped with queen-size beds, new comfortable mattresses, and high-quality linen. Both also contain split system air conditioners/heaters. The newly renovated bathroom includes a laundry nook with a washing machine. High-quality shampoo and body wash from Hunter Lab, made in Melbourne, are also provided.

The outdoor patio area offers table and chairs with views over a historic church in the foreground and the Sacred Heart Cathedral in the background. Large kitchen windows also showcase this view.

Stylish, comfortable and central
This was a delightful place to stay. Beautifully decorated and comfortable furniture, with good size bedrooms and large bathroom and large main kitchen/dining/living space. An abundance of air conditioners - useful on a couple of very hot days. The owner was very helpful and responsive, which made things very easy for us. The location is great with cafes and restaurants literally just around the corner. Two things to note. The kitchen has a great stove, dishwasher etc but otherwise the kitchen equipment is good quality but fairly basic. At night there is some noise from traffic etc (unsurprising, being on View Street) which can disturb the noise-sensitive. Over all, a great place to stay and we hope to return.

Amazing property! Very clean, new, beautifully decorated and maintained, and you can clearly see that its a well loved place and recently renovated! Spacious living area, huge bathroom, walkable to the gardens and shops, the host responds very quickly and efficiently to any queries and everything is well thought out. Love it ❤️

It was well presented, but it could do with curtains on the back window to keep the hot afternoon sun out.The location was lovely but the traffic noise at time was annoying.
