The Michiana Apartment #1 is available to mature, responsible and respectful adults only. If you are looking for a place to stay up late and party like there is no tomorrow, then keep looking as this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet escape from it all, please continue reading.

The apartment has been painstakingly renovated by an award winning architect and builder with beautiful finishes and furnishings. Pride of ownership and attention to detail is very apparent.

Please see our photos, current on-line availability calendar and rates for more information. Best suited for two guests maximum. There is also a pull out sleeper sofa in the Living Room for one or possibly two small children.

Lovely home

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt in getting back to us and even found someone to come over and give our car a jump when it didn't start the morning we were leaving.Unit 2 was lovely and quaint. It was extremely cleanWe were able to easily walk to town and enjoy the Ice Breaker festival. Highly recommend.

South Haven get away

We have stayed at this property several times. Location is fantastic, easy walk to downtown and the beach. Easy access to the bike trails. Michael does a great job communicating check in and check out instructions. Very clean.

Perfect stay!

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our first time in South Haven! The location couldn't be better - so close to the water, all the boats, the beach, the downtown. We walked everywhere! The apartment had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We really had the best time and will absolutely be back!

Perfect location!

Great location! We loved our stay at this property. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Each unit has an outdoor dining table and chairs. We enjoyed having morning coffee and people watching on the deck. We will be back!

Exactly what we needed!

We arrived to a very clean and quaint place to stay for two nights! There was so much natural light and the deck area was a nice extra space!! The location was perfect - only a block or two from the downtown as well as the marina where you could watch the boats go in and out towards the lake. We could not have asked for anything better!! We really appreciate the attention to details and especially a clean place to stay!

Cute place!

My wife and I rented this place for a getaway weekend. The place was very updated and clean. The location (close to the beach and downtown) was geat as well. Communication with the owner was awsome! The only suggestion I have is the TV could be updated. It is not a smart tv, so you cant choose to watch Netflix or other streaming services. It's still 5 stars though, and I would stay there again if in the area.

Great Location but needs some attention

We had a great time in South Haven and the property is a great location. We did have a few issues including the smoke detector going off constantly when only preheating the oven to prepare dinner, lower cabinet door in kitchen fell off, a rhythmic squeaking noise that we think was coming from a washing machine went on for a good hour twice during our stay. Love the property but just needs to attention.

Great location

Came up for a short overnight road trip to the town of South Haven, and this place is perfectly located right between the beach and the shops/restaurants/downtown area! Once you arrive you can walk to just about anything in the heart of the town you'd want to enjoy. Nice clean apartment to stay in. Did not cook or anything in the kitchen but everything seemed like this place would be great and practical for an extended stay as well. Only one down note purely due to personal preference - the bed is really firm - this worked out great for my girlfriend, not so much for me who needs as much cushion as possible.

Clean and cozy

The house was as described and met all expectations. Especially enjoyed it was within walking distance to the beach and downtown South Haven. The shower was hot with good pressure and the outdoor shower also had hot water which was a nice bonus. We would stay there again.

Wonderful Stay at Michiana 1

My wife and I stayed at Michiana 1 for five days in mid July. Our visit was very enjoyable in every way. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed. The location is convenient for both the beach and the downtown shopping and dining. Most remarkable, the igniter on the grill actually worked on the first try! We would highly recommend Michiana 1 to anyone interested in visiting this area.
