The floor in the room seemed to be a bit dusty. Needed to be swept up better. There were areas of construction around the motel that were a bit of an eyesore depending on the entrance/exit used. The staff was friendly, and the location is great for area restaurants and shopping.

Prime location for downtown St Joe, the rooms have been updated on a budget but are clean. The hallway carpet is gross though… affordable and ok for a quick one night stay.

This hotel was very poorly run. Two out of the three lamps had no lightbulbs in them. Picture of the television was fuzzy, lip sync was off, it was very difficult to understand what was being said. Breakfast consisted of stale muffins and a toaster that did not work. The tissue paper and toilet paper are the cheapest that they could find. The shower had no shelves on which to put your soap or shampoo.

Great location. This hotel used to have an indoor pool and bar. Would be much nicer when all the hotel could offer is functional .The hotel staff work so hard and seem so stretched. They seem like a nice family operating and transitioning the hotel.

I hope that you don't wake up hungry. The breakfast was bread for toast, stale cereal, yogurt, coffee, juice and rotting fruit. Most hotels have waffles, eggs and some kind of meat. The TV had static and didn't have streaming services. I loved the location to the park, beach, and shopping!

DON’T STAY HERE!!!
This hotel is absolutely filthy. I was supposed to stay 2 nights and ended my stay, taking a loss instead of sleeping in the filth. The floor had not been mopped. The floor around the toilet was disgusting. The bathroom door didn’t close. musty smell absolutely the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I hate being rude, but it’s the facts.

Four stars overall for location and price, which was very reasonable. Condition of room was so so, but everything was clean. No hot water and shower drained extremely slowly such that I had to turn off the water to keep it from overflowing. These things would be issues in a longer vacation (especially the lack of hot water), but I was there for one night as part of a road trip, and like I said, the price was low.

First, this hotel is walking distance to downtown, the beach, and a convenience store. That’s a 10/10. I agree with the previous reviews that this place was the best of the best in its day. It’s older and for the rate we knew it wasn’t top notch. However, it was not clean. There was leftover food and alcohol in the fridge and a washcloth used that was gross hanging on the shower curtain bar. It was gross. I should have said something to the desk but we were already behind schedule and many things close early in town so I grabbed the dirty washcloth with a clean one and threw it in the corner under the sink. Gross. Please up your sanitation standards. Your location is prime but those things are not okay. Also I didn’t see on the Expedia sight that the pool was under renovation so that was a slight bummer, but not the hotels fault just an FYI if you’re looking to stay soon.

Beds and bathrooms were clean, carpet was stained. I like that it’s pet friendly although I did not have a pet with me it’s something to consider in the future. The breakfast was very basic, the only hot food you get would be if you toasted a bagel or bread. The location was excellent because the beach is in walking distance and so is the strip of stores. I would stay here again! The cost I felt was high for one night especially considering the breakfast you’re given.
