After making the reservation, I received an email saying that their was some changes I need to be aware of. The big change was there would not be a "breakfast", but it would be a grab and go. Upon check-in, there was a sign on the dining room door that said we need to see the front desk staff for the "grab and go". The next morning, we didn't have to see staff, the breakfast bar was set up. It consisted of instant oatmeal, breakfast bars and coffee. The grab and go was actually a grab it and go back to your room and eat. Very disappointed and we went out for breakfast a couple of times. Luckily there were plenty of places nearby to choose from. The pool was green and appeared dirty; the shower curtain had been cut to fit the shower; the towel hook in the shower area was not reachable from the shower; poorly laid out bathroom facilities; water pressure was very low; the smoke alarm appeared not to have power; no coffee pot, microwave or refrigerator; entrance door at the end of the hallway was not secured and slammed close when someone came through it; phone in room did not work; every time we asked for towels or to get the trash emptied, staff acted like we were bothering them. But they did take the time to apologize on several occasions and made sure to let us know they were in the process of converting over to another motel chain. After I got home from our trip, I noticed an extra nights stay had been charged to my c/c. I was able to got a refund easily.
