A lovely and spacious room with nice views of the old town. Great staff, breakfast and perfect location for the old and new parts. Winter markets and decorations were still around, giving us an extended fabulous festive break to 5 January.

Great location and service. Ideal for a weekend.
Great location, very quiet, comfortable, modern. Restaurant was very nice with great view of upper old town. Breakfast buffet was like feeding time at the Zoo, not the hotels fault but recommended going early to avoid the rush. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is good in that it is between the lower and upper town and accesing both is easy. I have been diagnosed with coeliac and I asked the hotel in advance of our stay whether there were gluten free options available at breakfast. The answer was "yes" which is correct however the food on offer was limited and on the last two mornings I brought my own food into the breakfast room. There is a gluten free bakery less than two kilometres away from the hotel which could supply a significantly higher quality of food than that which the hotel currently offers. The decor of the room that we stayed in (room 510) was tired and needs some attention. We did ask for the hotel to post some items for us and we were told to do it ourselves (a first!).

Comfortable, clean and convenient.
Even though this is a 4 star hotel, my room was more 2 star. The bed was very comfortable, and clean, and bathroom was clean. But the condition of the decor was bad. It really needs an update. I had to put the kettle on the floor as there wasn’t a plug near the desk. Certain areas were dusty as though it hadn’t been used in a while. But I had international news channels on the TV which was good. Breakfast was excellent.
