Nice and clean hotel. Very good breakfast with a large choice of hot and cold food. We booked to is hotel with the premise of parking, but were told we would need to park in a public garage upon arrival, costing us a lot extra to park in Bergen

We recently spent 3 nights at the Heimen Hotel while we visited Bergen. The hotel is located very near to the fish market and Bryggen, top tourist attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the daily breakfast with a wide choice of foods. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again if we ever are back in Bergen.

A great location but the rooms are bit tight. Parking is limited and expensive. However there are parking garages nearby. Breakfast is the best, very convenient and walkable to all major attractions in Bergen.

Had a great stay! The hotel is very well located. The room was spacious and was very quiet (as requested). All the hotel staff were helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast was also great.

This hotel was only 1 1/2 blocks from the garage entrance. Easily walkable. Able to easily walk around the harbor, see Bryggen, also to walk to the Aquarium and enjoy the park and view from there. Hot water, quickly. Heated bathroom floor. Staff and breakfast great!

Room was dark green, felt dark even in daylight. No bath mat for shower, shower was same level as floor, hair dryer didn't work, no tissues or washcloths. Breakfast was good, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Near to waterfront.

This hotel was quite nice, and super close to the pier. We took the ferry from Flam to Bergen with Norled and it was only a 4min walk. Room was nice. Breakfast the first day was good. The second day everything was cold and dry. Tasted like leftovers from the day before. Most restaurants in the area close by 9 or 10pm. So it was hard to find somewhere to eat. The hotel doesnt have an evening service.

Cute city, great hotel and breakfast, recommend!
This is a quiet, lovely, modern (on the inside) hotel near the harbor in Bergen. In Sept 2024, no further construction happening to wake us. No AC to speak of, but temps were cool enough for us to manage with the window open. Very spacious room, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast (compact but offering a lot of great, fresh items) We would gladly stay here again. Very walkable city - we took the light rail from the airport, then walked to the hotel, then on to our Hurtigurten cruise in the other harbor. One highlight - we swam and saunaed at the outdoor salt pool on the tip of the peninsula, about a 15 min walk from the hotel. Really enjoyed biking around to discover the town on the city bikes as well.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly, the decor is modern, and the whole hotel is very clean. My room was compact but had everything needed. The bathroom was excellent and very modern, and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all it was very quiet so I slept well. The breakfast was included and there is a big selection of food. The self serve area is quite compact and gets quite busy but the food was regularly replenished. The hotel is just a short walk from the shops and main tourist attractions in Bergen. I would definitely stay here again.
