Very cheap for what I get for a single room. It’s very quiet room and good functioning of hot shower and heating although the shower drain is not properly drained.

Breakfast was very good. Room was dark and light bulb was out in the bathroom above sink and on the bedside light of 402. No ability to draw any curtains there weren’t any. Noise throughout night was a problem. Yes you get what you pay for.. On checking out one member of staff declared that I owed 84 euros for an upgrade . I informed I did not ask for an upgrade and I had already paid in full. He was corrected by another member of staff . I was returned just 5 euros for the key deposit . I reminded him that the deposit receipt was for 30 euros this was again put right.. Lesson for other guests get a receipt for the deposit. I am not suggesting this was a scam to make me part with money but two instances ???

Recommended only with a private bathroom !
3 of my friends and I spent 4 nights there. The receptionists were kind , you can check-in before 3 pm for a fee of 10 € / person (which is too much in my opinion). When we arrived we used the common bathrooms and to be honest they were horrible , not clean at all and the smell was terrible. When we checked in the receptionist told us we got a private bathroom which was a "free upgrade" which made our stay way more comfortable. The room was small for 4 people to fit in but clean. The beds were okay, not very comfortable. Same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast (which costs 6.50 €) was alright and had all the essentials. The nearest U-Bahn is 7 minutes walk and the nearest S-Bahn is around 12 minutes. In other words it was well located. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. You can only connect to the wifi in the breakfast area and in the lobby.

We were forced out into the cold street in the middle of the night for three hours (!) because of a water main break, and were given no rebate or partial reduction in our room price. I know it wasn't their fault, but the gesture would have been nice. I won't visit this hostel again.

We like the location, easy access to transportation, cleanliness and breakfast. We like the breakfast choices: fruit, muesli, vegetables, cheese and whole milk.I liked the coffee, and I am particular about that. We don't eat meat. The price is within our budget. The staff was helpful and courteous. We are not interested in electronics, so not TV is a plus. We found a room with low EMF, the staff was most helpful in this. The youngsters were noisy, this goes with the territory.

No soap in the bathroom. Dormitory I stayed has a small section inside which contains 1 toilet and shower in the same place. That part is not soundproof. Therefore the first person takes a shower in the morning causes everybody to wake up and because the room does not have access to any other shower or bathroom you must wait for other people to finish.

Not recommended for romantic holidays
The website made it look like we were renting two twin beds next to each other on a box spring but in fact what we got was 2 triple bunkbed. we were told at the front desk in a somewhat cold manner that if we had read the fine print we would’ve known that this could happen at this particular hostel. The signage to find our room was terrible there is no obvious staircase in case of a fire in the elevator would be way too dangerous because it took so long for it to come . Huge school class crowds quite noisy. Although I am not quite used to prices of hotels in Europe yet as perspective I rented a room in Albuquerque New Mexico last summer at a Best Western that I would’ve lived in if I could have. This room I would’ve left immediately if I could have.

Avoid this! Poor wifi connection which is 5 euro per day plus unfriendly staffs. Very noisy on weekends too. (One of my room made his bed after midnight with alcohol smell)

1 night stay.
The hotel is a true hostel. Large, with lots of dorms. Front desk staff are efficient and cleans sheets and. A towel are provided. The room and an en-suite bathroom were clean, but it's very basic. The room was clean, and the bunk beds quiet (no squeaking), but too hot. The windows only did a limited job of letting fresh air in. The lift to the upper floors is a service lift only. Didn't bother with wifi and stuck with 4g. Didn't use any other facilities. The hostel is secure, clean and safe. Recommend as a budget stop.

Pretty legit place to stay
Guy at the counter was very friendly and helped me figure out the best places to go during my visit. I had never been to Berlin before and so the place was a bit hard to find since they lock the outside gate at night and its a bit hard to tell where it is. The room was pretty nice , a bit messy from the other 3 people currently staying in the room, however i was happy to see that they actually provided sheets for the beds, unlike other places that i have visited where they sneak that charge in only after you have paid for your room. The lobbies were comfortable and nice to hang out in, and they hostel had reasonably priced snack foods and drinks. I had a Great time. TIP: if you get wifi go for the 4 hour pass. you can log in and log out when your not using it. It worked great for me casually using it for the two days i was there.

This Place is the Worst!
I left this hostel 3 days early because I could not stand anymore. 8 people crammed into 4 bunkbeads in a small room with little storage and uncomfortable bed. women's shower is not private. Constant noise!

Great hostel
More than expected in a very hip part of town with stores, cafes and restaurants. Very close to transportation and grocery stores. Very clean and friendly with perfect English spoken.

Clean and pleasant no-frills accomodation
We only spent one night in Berlin and I chose this hostel because it was inexpensive and conveniently located near the sights we wanted to visit. I asked for a room that my partner and I could have ot ourselves, which we got, although it was arranged in bunk beds which wasn't ideal. As we only spent one night there, it wasn't a big deal though, and the room was very clean and had an en suite bathroom, which was appreciated. There was a bit of noise from surrounding rooms, presumably due to school/college parties also using the hostel, but again it wasn't a major problem for us. We didn't make use of the hostel's breakfast facilities, as they seemed rather too basic, but we found a good cafe/bakery a few doors away. The hostel staff were polite and helpful and spoke good English. I wouldn't use this place again for longer stays, but for a quick stop-over it was ideal.

Rude, disorganised and dirty.
The All In Hostel is a basic hostel in a great part of the city. Friedrichshain is an amazing neighbourhood, full of cool places to shop, eat, drink and dance, but avoid booking at this Hostel. Myself and 2 friends booked a 6-bed private dorm, with ensuite bathroom for our trip. We didn’t want to share and the hostel offered a private dorm for just us 3. Upon arrival though, we were sent to an 8-bed shared dorm with no bathroom. When we queried this there was no-one around to help (it was after 12am) and no manager available to talk to. The next day we were rudely woken up by the staff who told us that we had to move to a 10 bed dorm immediately as another party had booked our room. We were not offered any apology and when we told them that we had been given the wrong room in the first place, they simply said it was hotels.com’s fault, they could do nothing about the situation and that we were to move immediately. We went to their alternative room, which was completely full, cold, dirty and had someone smoking in it. After refusing this room, and about 1 hour of waiting, we were offered an 8 bed room again and told this was all they could do. We were left to take a room we didn’t want, and weren’t sure whether we would be moved again during the weekend. The staff were rude and unhelpful, making it appear as if we were causing them a problem by complaining about the shocking customer service on display. They made little attempt to make the situation better, apart from giving us a free breakfast the next day (Worth about 3 Euros). All this left a bitter taste in the mouth, as the trip was supposed to be a fun time, but was marred and disrupted. We spoke to some of the other guests who had also had the same problem and it appeared the hostel was simply overbooking the rooms and not providing the services they offered. The desk staff did not seem to know much about the booking system and the problems it caused, and whilst the room we moved to was clean and sparse, it was completely not what we booked. A shame, because the area was great and the hostel, minus the dirty room we were offered, was actually of a generally clean standard. But the staff’s attitude and ineptitude was awful. Book somewhere else.
