All you have to do is cross the Berlin-Copenhagen cycle path and you can go straight to the beach. You can hire kayaks or SUPs from the nearby marina, which will give you lots of fun and enjoyment. Hennigsdorf is located northwest of Berlin in the district of Oberhavel in Brandenburg. Surrounded by beautiful and natural Havel floodplains, water and forest as well as the proximity to Berlin, there is a wide range of cultural and leisure activities to discover here.

Luxury home but very bad service
We had really looked forward to visiting this nice-looking house close to Berlin, but the reality was a mixed bag: - The house was very dirty, with e.g. moldy dishes still in the dishwasher despite a cleaning charge of 195 euros; - No wifi, satellite TV not connected, warm water closed off on arrival; - No linen service so we had to buy bedlinen at the last moment; - The house looks luxurious but is fitted out very impractically with an incomplete kitchen inventory (e.g. no cutting board) and strange choices (deep pile carpet below the dining table); - Henningsdorf is a quiet and neat suburb of Berlin, but also a bit boring and a long drive (45 minutes) from many parts of Berlin. - All in all for such an expensive home the experience was very impersonal, we didn't feel supported, would recommend finding another home (closer to the city center).
