The rooms are basic. The shared space is good and the breakfast awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little outside the middle, but public transportation is close by.

Loved this property. It was clean, staff friendly and helpful. Wasn’t the closest to things. Cost $80 to get from the airport by Uber. The rooms and lobby were cool and colorful. The bar was open 24/7 we had a late night cocktail. I have nothing bad to say about this property.

Great price. Good location. 650mtr from u-bahn station. Bakery just outside. Clean and spacious rooms. Plenty sockets.

Ok to stay here again if there’s nowhere else.

10 stars for the friendly and helpful staffs and excellent service. Located in a bit sketchy neighborhood. The rooms facing the wood are nicer and quiet. The ones facing the residential are not so nice and can’t be noisy. This is the HOSTEL not hotel. 2 rooms, 4 beds each sharing a 1 small private bathroom. Most people staying here are business and students. I’m a tourist and I feel bad to use the bathroom before they do. The pillow is so tiny and the bed is pretty uncomfortable.

Great value hotel with super friendly staff

Fantastic hotel, incredible value. The bed was amazing, room much larger than expected. Staff were incredible, responsive, polite, and just fantastically nice! If I was in the area again, I'd be delighted to stay there again, although I would love a coffee machine in the room (I know they're available in the 'business' rooms), but aside from that, I had a great, comfortable, and quiet stay. The hotel bar is also very comfortable, and outside area lovely!

Good little hotel in Gesundbrunnen

Hotel Big Mama is a bit hidden from streetview, and somehow easy to miss. It is, however, a reasonably good hotel and with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. It is located not far from the tram line, and within walking distance of the U8/U9 station of Osloer Strasse. My room was spacious, the bed was quite comfortable, and the curtains were thick enough to block the annoying sunlight appearing in the summer skies of Berlin at 5am, helping me sleep in if I wanted to. The WiFi was good and reliable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the reception was always open. I can't comment on the breakfast, as I did not take it (it seemed a bit overpriced). But overall, a very pleasant experience. I would stay here again.

Highly recommended!

Room was spacious, rather simple but very modern (ikea) design. Bed and pillows were great, I have never better slept in my life (or that was Berlin that tired me). Room temperature was just as it was supposed to be, even though I am not sure if there was some kind of air conditioning, since I didn’t needed. The only thing that was missing in the room was the fridge. Bathroom was big, nothing fancy but I had everything needed (clean towels, hair dryer, soap, shampoo). And staff at the reception was great, nice, polite and gave me all the answers I needed, though without being too intrusive as receptionist staff usually is in more so to say fancier hotels. Public transport is close to the building (max 6minutes) and it takes you to the city “center” in less than 20min. I would definitely choose the same hotel next time in Berlin.

Super friendly staff, breakfast a bit pricey €11,90 for whats available, parking on site cost extra €10. There are many cafes, restaurants, and necessary shops available within 5-10 min walking distance. I did enjoy my stay, but realized hostel living isnt for me, lol. Offers hostel, rooms, and studio apts. Good spot to catch a little rest. Would stay again.

Clean. Simple done well. There’s a few nice bars and places to eat in the area but on the whole it’s a case of travelling in to town to get to the action which is easily done. Really enjoyed our stay!

Really love this hotel. The location is perfect for me, the staff is kind and helpful, rooms are very comfortable.Great breakfast. Since my last visit - no more small bottles of shampoo and soap; now there are only big dispensers with soap/shampoo. no more body lotion or conditioner. Bring your own. Also - the plastic curtain in the shower is something that should be replaced.

Great value - clean and comfortable

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Clean towels daily if required. Family room had plenty of space with a small kitchen area. New toiletries holders installed whilst there - better. Good hairdryer. Only concern was location - a bit far out but accessible by train once you figure out which line to take. Is right in middle of residential area, off the tourist route. Good value for those who don't mind using the train.
