Good, but...
The apartment was comfortable, spacious, quite and well positioned. But there were some relatively minor but irritating shortcomings. We were there for nearly two weeks, and didn't get any information about cleaning. We asked after a few days and the room was cleaned, and again in a couple more days it was done again. We asked for the floor to be swept later, and this was done. It would be useful to have a page of information about the place in the room.

I really like the style of the rooms. They are actually small apartments and tastefully furnished. There is a kitchen and a lot of light. Ideal for people who want to stay several days

class accomodation for a Berlin city break
Stayed in the Schoenhouse apartments for 3 nights and it was just perfect ,well located about 10 minutes walk to the TV tower which incidently costs 13 euros per adult and has to be pre-booked! about 40 minutes walk to the Reichstag again this has to be prebooked but entry is free ,Taxi from Tegel airport took about 20 minutes and was 24 euros .Staff were very friendly and helpful and also spoke English ,very unfussy place ,laid back modern accomodation ,spacious and clean ,although not cleaned everyday ,not that you need that .Computer and printer available which we used to check in for our flight and printed off boarding cards and tv tower tickets all free to use .we had a deluxe suite this had a small kitchen /eating area .Double bed ,and a fold down sofa bed which was ok for 2 adults ,lots of space in the room as well ,nice bathroom with shower over bath .Reception was in place from 8am till 8 pm after that the front door was locked and you gained entry through a side door using your room key .plenty of cafes nearby although we didnt bother and cooked our own food ,large supermarket 5 minutes walk ,out the front turn left and cross the road and bear left .all in all i was expecting this to be ok after reading positive reviews and i was pleasantly surprised and thought it was a lot better than just ok ,would definetely use again if in Berlin .

Very good hotel in a very good place.
It was a wonderful stay. the hotel apartment is great. the only thing we found inconvenient is that there is no air condition in the room. in the summer it is a bit warm. other than that great hotel in a great location.

Great Location, Terrible Wi-Fi
This hotel is located about 2 blocks from the U-bahn which makes it very convenient to get around the city. The short walk to the U-bahn is filled with several different restaurants and a convenience store that's open pretty late. Pratergarden (beer garden) is just a 10-15 walk in the opposite direction, about 2 minutes from another U-bahn stop. The reception was nice, but not 24-hour. There is also a small café in the building, but we only saw it open at breakfast. We booked a City Apartment and requested a high floor - turns out that was five flights of stairs without an elevator. No big deal as we brought backpacks, but just a note to future travelers. The room was great (see photos), very spacious with a good kitchen and a balcony - very nice in the late summer when we went. There is only a hand wash/shampoo pump bottle, so make sure you bring your own amenities with you. The reason for the four stars: the Wi-Fi could only be accessed if you shared your Facebook account and then "liked" their page on your account - this is NOT what I would call FREE internet. Our friend doesn't have FB and couldn't use the internet for the two days we were there. We did not encounter this type of Wi-Fi anywhere else in Europe on our trip. Just be advised! When I did get on the Wi-Fi, the service was okay, but only good enough for a few emails - it took over 30 minutes to send a picture through iMessage.

Excellent transport links which are easy to use and are cheap! Overall I loved the apartment, but there wasn't a lift. We were on the fourth floor which meant tackling 8 flights of (very steep) stairs. Not great when you were in and out of the apartment each day and had luggage to carry. Due to it being an old building it was also quite noisy when people walked up the stairs and you could hear people walking around above you. Apart from these two issues I really enjoyed my stay in the apartments!

nice staff and worth the price
We had a nice stay there. The apartment is not far away from the metro station and city centre and there are several grocery shops and restaurants near the apartment. The room for 4 people is big and has a full-equipped kitchen. Staff are very friendly and helpful to provide travelling information. However the only thing i'd like to mention is the hot water is really limited. The next person has to wait for a long time. It was really inconvenient for us four people living together.

Huge, clean apartment, close to UBahn Rosa Lux Station. Main room bright, but dark in halllway & dressing area. A couple lights were burned out. Bathroom lighting was poor - hard to apply makeup.

Ok, for the price.... I guess...
Well, lets start off with the staff. Friendly at first but did not help with our luggage what's so ever, not like other apartments that we visited did. They helped us carry the luggage. The internet did not work, even after asking the staff and 2 fellows came up to see. This was a problem... The location was good for nearby subway, which is excellent in Berlin. Easy to figure out. apartment was 15 minutes from Alexandra Platz walking. Busy front road. Booked, online with the staff, 1 month in advance, for near by garage parking. When I got there with my family, I was given a " No, you do not have parking here." . WHAT!!! I ended up parking in a garage in a hotel a good 15-20 minute walk away. That cost 20 Euros, which I do have to say, the staff paid for. Thank you for that. The room was ok. We had a double bed and a pull out sofa what can really only sleep one, so we found a cot in a closet that we used. The main bed and the sofa was separated by a curtain... Overall, for the room I gave a 3 out of 5. Next time in Berlin, I would look for another place to stay.

Great location, great flat, great staff. Clean, large, comfortable, very convenient. Only thing dragging down a little bit is that I'd specifically booked a parking space in their garage (and got a written confirmation from them) but when I arrived they just told me that someone was parked in the space I had booked. I found a different garage - no biggie. Great place to stay. I will come back.

Convenient apartments for sightseeing
We took 2 teenagers to Berlin and enjoyed our stay at these apartments. Only 1 stop on the underground from Alexanderplatz, they were convenient for the city. Quiet, peaceful, clean, well equipped (helpful to have washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel provided). There was a bakery and Netto nearby and there is a place to buy breakfast downstairs. Reception staff were always very friendly and helpful. We were able to hire bikes for 10 euros per day.
