If you’re reading this review and you’re on the fence about staying at the Steinenberger, save your time and just book it. I’m an avid review reader and am here to say that words cannot describe how amazing our stay was!!! You step outside the Hauptbahnhof (on the side with the Rewe to boot) and you’re already there. The grounds were gorgeous and felt super safe. We were greeted by Onur (spelling?) and the residential robot cat, Ella. I’ve never walked into a hotel so happy, and we walked up to the room even happier. Onur might be the best concierge we have ever met. What an amazing representation of your awesome city—recommending personalized sites for us to see that transcend the typical Berlin experience as well as recommended food and convenient spots near the hotel we’d need to know. He was beyond delightful and set the stage for the next two days. The rooms? Immaculate. Virtually silent. Completely spotless, beautiful lighting. We didn’t really have a view, but didn’t really need one thanks to jet lag. We enjoyed several hours of Bernd das Brot on the tv. The bed was unbeLIEVABLY comfortable. If we were in any other city I’d had just stayed in bed all day. The soft pillow changed my life. The bathroom was swanky and beautiful,…the SHOWER?! Water pressure was supreme, temperature, impeccable. Housekeeping was awesome. I’m getting cut short here but have to say this hotel really set off Berlin for us. It breaks my heart to leave. You can’t go wrong with this hotel!

Great room with a view, I upgraded by paying extra. The hotel is beautiful, just across from the Berlin Main Station, very convenient. Great sauna and spa, Beautiful bar. Only problem is the lack of a restaurant for dinner.

A wonderfully comfortable, crisp and contemporary hotel—easily accessible to everything in Berlin by virtue of its location near the main train station….also via a pleasant walk along the banks of the Spree River into the heart of Mitte. Value, style, and practicality make this hotel a new favorite for me.

Overall we had a great time. The hotel's convenient location by the central teain station was the main reason to stay there. The Kanzleramt is close by and other attractions are within walking distance. Check-in was average.

Too old for the reputation. The staff is not friendly, and the breakfast menu is not great. The room is not comfortable and warm. But the price is too high, including the city tax. Study how other hotels in the neighborhood operate. It's not very cost-effective. I'm even more angry because I stayed for five nights. I wanted to pay this price and get more friendly service. What a disappointing place.

Lovely hotel close to the train station. I loved the breakfast and sauna room. The sauna room is non-textile so you will have to be nude. We were initally given a twin bed however the reception quickly rectified the situation and gave us a double bed with upgrades. Great service and will definitely come back.

The room was very large, top notch. High ceiling. Coffee machine was Nespresso, excellent. Huge bed. Many comfy pillows, important for us as we arrived transatlantic and had to catch up on sleep. Bathroom was large and superb. Shower had rain head and hose spritzer - great. Shower large enough for two ;) Separate lighted mirror for makeup/shaving. Large TV, with multiple language stations. Strange but comfy lounge chair. Location next to main train station ideal for an early getaway. Yummy cucumber water in lobby. Staff very pleasant.

It’s very near to the Berlin HBF and the cube, thus there are tons of food options, groceries and also convenient to travel via train. The hop on and off buses are also located outside of the hotel. The room is spacious and clean, the staff are friendly. Breakfast is good.

Best Hotel in Berlin!
The best place to stay in Berlin. Right next to the Hauptbahnhof so plane to hotel in less than an hour. In walking distance of all the sights and lots to see and do around the hotel. Incredible spa, free of charge. I could not recommend it more highly.
