Was very expensive. The Europa football competition may have contributed to that. Easy walking distance to train station. Free access to laundry facilities. Loads of opportunities to socially mix. Could even get yr hair cut. Every night there was an activity. Big screen in courtyard provided football watching access. Room size great. Wifi good.

The hotel was very cool and alternative but quite basic. I think it's more of a 3 star than a 4 star. The staff were lovely but I advised them that my bedside lamp wasn't working and nothing was done about it. As the facilities were quite basic, every little thing was important and not having a bedside lamp was quite inconvenient.

The hotel hosted a huge two day hip hop festal. Hordes of attendees crowded the lobby bar/restaurant and loud music blasted from the courtyard all night. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. The hotel should have notified upcoming guests this would be happening and allowed them to cancel. I will never stay here again.

From this location I was able to easily navigate Berlin. The staff were also friendly, and helpful. However, my room had several issues that weren't resolved during the stay. The lights would not turn fully off, the desk lamp had no light bulb, the phone to reception didn't work, and the toilet would not flush. They attempted to resolve the issues, but they recurred. The staff did try their best, and I was given a few free drinks for the inconvenience. But at over 100 Euro a night, I at least expect to flush the toilet and control the lights.

My only complaint is that with being eco friendly there wasn't a way to make the room cold enough to be comfortable sleeping. I was sweating throughout all 3 nights of my stay. If the weather is hot outside the eco hotel conditioning system doesn't suffice. On a positive note it was a clean and fun environment!

Thought this was a pretty good hotel. Sound was never an issue. The room is nice sized. As others mentioned, the bed is pretty firm and can feel unforgiving. I also think the lights give off heat and I cracked the window in my room the whole time as it felt quite warm. Couldn't adjust temperature otherwise. Everyone was friendly that worked there. I am older but never felt too out of place. Liked the location and it felt safe as a woman traveling alone walking to it and taking public transport nearby.

The hotel was wonderful and the location was great for walking and getting around with public transportation. The staff was helpful and friendly, but there were situations where they couldn’t help us which was frustrating, but overall it was a wonderful stay, and they tried their best.

Uncomfortable!
The fire alarm went off twice. It was very annoying. The first time it was at 7am and the second time it was at 9 am. Woke me out my sleep. It happen to be nothing both time, very disappointing.
