Overall my experience at Clarion Pointe Bettendorf was positive. The staff I encountered where pleasant and professional. The room was nice. It was a great value for the price. This is a nice budget hotel that was conveniently located for my needs. I did not use many of the amenities and just need a room to sleep in.
When I arrived to check in the clerk was already helping a customer. She gave me eye contact and acknowledged I was there. When it became my turn she was polite and efficient, addressing all my needs. She directed my to the elevator and I went up to my room.
The room appeared to be recently remodeled. The room was small but nice looking and the controllable AC made it nice and cold (just how I like it). The carpet was nice and there was a huge mural on the wall the bed was against.
The room had a king bed that was comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The room was furnished with a sitting chair, a desk chair and a large TV. The room had a mini-fridge and a microwave. In the closet was a safe, hangers, an iron and ironing board.
The bathroom was small but clean. There where plenty of towels and a selection of soaps and lotions. The only negative in the bathroom was the lack of towel hooks. There had been one on the back of the bathroom door, but it was missing and only the screw holes remained.
In the morning I made coffee in the in room coffee maker, it worked well. I went down for the continental breakfast. They had juice, flavored water and coffee to
