The house is charming and surprisingly updated, with things such as a combo stovetop, oven and dishwasher. The village is really cute and is a perfect base to drive through Dordogne. Communication with the owners was very straightforward, and the check in process was relatively easy with their housekeeper (though she only speaks French, so be prepared for that). Although the house worked really well for us, and we would gladly stay there again, I would warn people that the walk up to the house is a little steep, and there are tight, spiral stairs in the house that would make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
There is a lovely outside area that would be perfect for sitting out and watching people go by, when the weather is nice. For us, though, the weather was rainy and cool, so after a day of touring around, we loved coming back to such a cozy house with a comfy living room.
Would gladly recommend this to anyone who does not have mobility issues.
