Perfect overnight stop over
Primarily, we needed a place in the area with late check-in and this was the main reason for picking the Holiday Inn. We arrived after midnight and were politely greeted at reception and told that food was available from the 24hr bar. This was a huge bonus as we were absolutely starving after a late night departure from the ferry into Portsmouth from Santander. The room was clean and comfortable and although the air system didn't seem to be operational, there was an electric plug-in heater which did the job perfectly on a chilly night in late November. The shower was excellent as was the buffet breakfast. As a retired couple, we do a regular road trip between Yorkshire and Southern Spain and just wish we'd seen this place before. Whenever we have a late ferry, this place will be the first candidate on the list for a stop over.

Not at all happy with two different members of breakfast staff. Petting dogs and then carrying on with their duties. No hand sanitizers used. We were there two mornings, witnessed this each morning. One of the ladies even brought a dish of food for a dog before petting it. I find this totally unhygienic. We stay at your hotel many times a year. Have always enjoyed our stays with you. But this may make us reconsider.

I recently stayed here and had a great experience overall. The hotel is modern, clean, and provides everything you need for a short stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with a cosy bed and a nice workspace. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection, with fresh and tasty options. The location is convenient, especially if you plan to visit Bicester Village, which is nearby. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions. The only minor downside was the charge for parking, which was a bit surprising given the location and the number of available spaces. Aside from that, I had a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend this place for its great value and comfortable accommodations!
