Hidden Pines Cabin is a 1970's two-story Cabin that features modern upgrades. The cabin is perfectly located to enjoy the BEST of BIG BEAR all year round! The cabin is 1366 Square foot with 2 bedrooms, a loft and 2 bathrooms. The Cabin has a long driveway with a large fenced backyard. Dog friendly, please see pet policy below. Hidden Pines is located in a beautiful neighbor that is mixed with rental homes and locals. A walk around the neighborhood is enjoyable and relaxing. Walking distance from the cabin is the Broadway Cafe, No Name Pizza, Lumber Jack Cafe, Liquor Store, Pickle's Pies, and Wyatt's Grill & Saloon which is home to Big Bear's Oktoberfest.
For our guest who are bike enthusiast or are up for any adventure. The cabin is perfectly located for a bike ride to either side of the lake, the village or snow summit.
You will have access to the entire house with the exception of a the garage and locked cabinets/storage that hold owner items.
Hidden Pines is nestled behind tall Pines that line the front of the property. The long driveway welcomes you to an oversized front porch.
The Cabin is easily accessible by keyless entry so check in can be completely contactless. Hidden Pines opens to high vaulted beam ceilings, large windows and a wood burning stove in the living room. The spacious living room has comfortable seating with a Samsung 55'" Smart flatscreen TV that allows you to stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, DisneyPlus, etc.
The Kitchen/Dining Room features a large table which is perfect for family and friends to share a meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pants, utensils, coffee makers and all the goodies to make a tasteful meal.
As you proceed from the living room and into the hallway you will find a bathroom and two bedrooms. The bedroom on the left, is a room with a king bed, a rocking chair and large windows. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV. Each bedroom has a full closet and a dresser.
The loft features two twin beds.
There is a propane grill on the back patio for guest use.
**PET POLICY**
We would love to welcome your well behaved, house/potty trained dogs to Hidden Pines Cabin and appreciate responsible pet owners.
- We permit 2 dogs MAX
- Please keep Guest Pets off the beds
-Please keep in mind that the backyard is currently fenced at 4' high. If you have an escape artist, keep them on a leash.
-Guest are to take reasonable action to not allow Guest Pet from creating a nuisance, annoyance and disturbance to the neighbors.
-No poop left behind
-Guest will comply with all applicable statues, local ordinances, rules and regulations.
-Guest shall be liable for any damage, loss or injury cause by Guest Pet.
Please be considerate and up front if you feel your pet may not be suitable for our cabin. We would like to continue providing this level accommodations for all families and pets.
There is a bus stop that is walking distance from Hidden Pines Cabin, it on the main bus route for Big Bear Valley. It is also a stop for the FREE Big Bear Valley Trolley. Mountain Transit offers Dial-a-Ride.
** Trash Service **
We have have trash service, someone will come to pull bins out and put them back. Trash pick up is Thursday and expect for holidays and weather delays.
**PARKING**
Maximum number of parked vehicles is 3. ALL vehicles must be parked in the driveway because the city does not permit street parking for Short Term Rental Units.
For guest who are are towing something or have a large vehicle that will affect how many vehicles fit in the driveway. Please plan accordingly. There is no street parking or additional parking nearby.
**WINTER TRAVEL**
Please be aware that during winter months, weather can change rapidly and cannot honor last minute cancellations due to weather conditions. Chain, AWD and/or 4x4 requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Carrying properly sized chains is MANDATORY as there are "chain check stations" on the mountain during snow season. Bring appropriate clothing and boots.
**Snow Removal**
Snow removal is done at 4 inches or more, after the storm slows down. Snow shovel is provided. The plow team is on their own route and schedule. Please plan ahead for weather and snow.
