Spanning 3,539 Sq Ft and clad in knotty cedar siding and log accents, this majestic luxury lodge abounds in quality craftsmanship and rustic mountain elegance. Amenities include 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, game room, 10-seat private home theater, back deck with hot tub and BBQ, concrete driveway, laundry room, and extensive decking to enjoy some of the most iconic views in Big Bear. Well-appointed chef's kitchen features granite slab counters, custom cabinets, a large island, top-of-the-line appliances, luxury finishes, and attached formal dining. Spectacular great room offers vaulted ceilings, large wood beams, and beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace.
​​​​​​​While air conditioning is absent, nature compensates with its own cooling system - the fresh mountain air.

* Max occupancy -16 people, 14 Adults Maximum. The maximum for guests and adults CAN NOT be exceeded at any given time.

Pets MUST be pre-approved in advance.
A pet fee of $125 per pet will apply IF the pet(s) has been approved. Pet fee is requested after the booking is confirmed.
* If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without SoCal Vacations' approval: There is a fine of $500 per pet.

- Do not leave pets unattended in the home unless kenneled.
- Do not let pets on any furniture or beds.

- You will be responsible and charged for any damages caused by pets.

Most of these rules are enforced by city officers since they follow a code or regulation at a city level, some are just to keep the homes as perfect as we possibly can, believe me when I say, all I care is for my guests to have an amazing experience and for my owners to love our services, but for that, rules need to be respected on both sides.

- Please respect the home and follow the rules, just as you expect timely assistance from us. Many of these rules are city regulations, while others help us maintain the homes in top condition. Our goal is to ensure a great experience for our guests and property owners.
* Check-In: City code requires face-to-face check-in at our office in the Village. It will be quick and easy.
* Parking: Follow city-enforced parking limits. If you need more space, let us know.
* Occupancy: Adhere to the maximum occupancy limits enforced by us and the city. No exceptions.
* Noise: Be respectful to neighbors. Keep music inside and at a low volume. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. We have monitoring system in place that reads decibels of noise and notifies you directly and us of loud noises.
* A/C: Most homes do not have air conditioning. Nights are cooler with open windows.
* Ants: Clean up after meals to avoid attracting ants. We use traps and sprays, but cleanliness is key.
* Trash: Dispose of trash at the designated clean site as required by city regulation.
* Age Requirement: You must be at least 24 years old to book. We do not allow parties. This rule is strictly enforced.

Fantastic time in Big Bear
SoCal vacation was absolutely great from the beginning. Before booking, I had a few questions, and they were great and very prompt when answering them. Also showed some flexibility on some of our needs, which was very good to see. Unfortunately, as we got closer to the stay, there were some issues with the house we had originally booked, but they were prompt to notify us of this and offer several options. We were moved to a different house, which the entire family loved! We ended up moving to The Hidden Estate, and everyone had a great time there. The house was big, had plenty of space for all 16 of us. We only had 3 cars, but there was definitely space for more. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast there every day, and had every item that you would expect in a fully functional kitchen. The house has a big yard, so the kids really enjoyed that, and the adults and infants were able to spend plenty of time on the deck. Checkout was great. We notified the team of some issues we created, and they were very understanding of this, which was a great surprise. In short, everyone really enjoyed the house, and kept saying how great it was. I would definitely recommend it for big families, and if we are able to come back next year, I will surely be looking to book it again, or at least to book again any of the properties with SoCal vacations.

We really enjoyed this property. The view from the balcony looking over the mountain is really nice. Better than the pictures! Property management was extremely responsive. Fantastic home for a large gathering.

Gorgeous home with fantastic views
Overall, everything was great. The property management was very communicative before check in and even updated us on road closures. The property itself was perfect. Very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The only issue was that the listing said that 6 cars would fit as the max. That means smaller cars. We had to figure out where to park 2-3 of our vehicles because they did not safely fit in the garage driveway area. The listing says to ask about additional parking if needed. We did and did not get any help other than try calling this place or at your own risk suggestions. We figured something out, but it was a little surprising that it’s listed on the properties page, but no solid suggestions were provided. Also, the trash drop off gave us a bit of a difficult time. Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend, especially if you’re a large group or family!

I cannot say enough about the elegance of this home. Everyone was amazed when each walked in the door. The view, the charm the craftsman ship was off the chart. We had our three sons their wives and my nine grandchildren. I highly recommend this beautiful place. Oh the pictures do not do it justice. We’ll be back. And special thanks to all involved to make this happen.
