Outstanding location, beautiful drive from Monterey if you go through Jolon, you drive through the national forests. Stop in Gorda for a meal and pick up wine/snacks and then settle into the environment. Cozy Cabin like rooms, with the waves racing to the shore below the cliffs. Ambiance ;)

Staff is super friendly. I could not have asked for such a quiet and beautiful lodge to relax at. No cell reception but they have great WiFi if needed

The view from units 1-8 are REDICULIOUS. small lower table to eat the cont. Breakfast at. Oh I'm deffinately using this as a hwy 1 stop when traveling the route!!! But I'd suggest eating before or later in ragged point. The room we rented, no TV, no microwave, no mini fridge. But our phones were enough when we weren't looking at the view or the stars above!

It was a nice place to stay. But at 250 dollars a night and no place to dine for 10 miles. And the water was off when I got there for a couple hours and the room was really dated. Just not worth the price.

Our experience staying here was one of the best trips we've ever had and this is now one of my favorite places to stay anywhere. Everyone staying there at the same time was raving about it as well. I noted other reviews mention Wi-Fi issues and the fact that the restaurant burned down in a fire. We had perfect Wi-Fi the entire time, a small breakfast was served, and there are a couple of restaurants a short drive away.
