Very Disappointed stay away
I waited 25 mins to check In as they said they were making sure our room was ready. When entering the room the beds had no pillows they were not queen size beds they were double. The room smelled, the heat turns on whenever it wants and it becomes extremely hot in the room. The phone didn’t work to call downstairs and when you text they don’t reply. We were told they would send someone up because we had no outlets that worked come to find out they don’t have maintenance in the evening. The pool is very cloudy so kids couldn’t go in it. Not worth the money to stay provided my complaint to the manager this morning and received nothing for all of these inconveniences. Very disappointing for a country inn and suites.

Elevator hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how long as well as hallways. Our bathroom had poop on wall behind door and all that was done was a quick wipe with a Clorox wipe. Not a “I’m sorry” or anything. Not even a discount on the room. Will not return !

Not worth it for location to shops
At check in the room they had us in wasn't ready no sheets on the bed pillows in a pile on the bed and the bathroom was disgusting. From the sounds of it this happens quite a bit and there were multiple issues with rooms that day alone and they don't have anyone from maid service on site after probably 5pm. They were nice enough to move us to a room that was ready at least but communication with the person at check in wasn't great so wasn't sure if the room he moved us to was booked for the next day for us or not. Breakfast was good and the staff doing that was very nice but seemed like they were still filling stuff at the start of breakfast. Coffee was lukewarm at best though and I quit drinking it and went for starbucks after finding bugs in my cup.

Have stayed there many times over the years and the last 5 years this property has slowly gone down hill. Repairs in the rooms bathrooms were done very poorly. Just everything is getting well used but now its name to reinvest in this property and bring it back to life. The location is great when staying at Birchrun. It’s very convenient.

There was a pistachio left on the ground from the previous guests which was unsettling. The wifi also was very slow. However, staff were very nice, the building is kept up nicely and it was a very convenient location for Black Friday shopping.

Our room was still dirty when we got there. The toilet bowl was black like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. When we complained to the front desk, we were told the manager would have to contact us. She never did even after 3 attempts of calling her. We were told every time that she would call us back. So I contacted Expedia, and the manager won't even call them back. Totally unacceptable. We were told before we left that the hotel has been under new ownership 3 times in the last 4 months.

Room wasn't ready 30 minutes past check in time. TV in room had no cable available and remote didn't work regardless. Cleaning lady said she would have maintenance come and trouble shoot the tv/remote issue...maintenance never showed up. Curtains were ripped (very large hole). I'm not a "hotel snob", but I would not ever stay here again.
