Brilliant Birmingham Hotel
Have stayed here a few times now on business. It’s my first choice now when visiting Birmingham as it is in a great location, staff always professional & friendly. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Have yet to use the gym or eat there.

A great and enjoyable stay.
The staff were great and so welcoming to my 3 year old with colouring books, crayons, and a book library. She was so happy. The hotel was extremely comfortable and clean with all types of amenities. Overnight parking was a reasonable price. We had a lovely time

This hotel is supposed to be high end IHG location but it’s far from it! From walking into the lobby to leaving 24 hours later, barely anything was worth the additional price of this place! The person who checked me in was far from welcoming, she couldn’t even manage a smile, I’ve never been greeted by someone so miserable and that had a look of utter disdain! The Club level room on floor 11 was far from the standard expected for the ridiculous price! Noisy, dated bathroom, temp uncontrollable, awful night’s sleep! New apartment block built almost in front of hotel meant no privacy so had to keep the very bleak net curtains drawn, shame as the part view to the right overlooking the city wasn’t too bad! The club lounge is time restricted for alcohol, a tiny window of 2 hours I think they managed, unbelievable! Don’t bother with it, definitely not worth the extra cost. Breakfast was ok, nice to have choice of bacon (streaky and back cuts available), good choice of products overall. Check out was best part of the stay, mainly because I was leaving! Wouldn’t recommend. I’ve stayed in much better much cheaper hotels in this fab city, avoid this one!

I would not stay at this property again. Although the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, I had issue with the tub in the room - there were no hand rails to assist getting in. The tub was high and I sinply could not get in and out without my husband’s assistance. When I tried to get another room, the manager offered my a rundown room which was my only option. (I paid for a Reno room with a city view). I left the hotel 2 days early because of this and because the WiFi kept dropping and I needed to work on my laptop. I will definitely chose other hotel options in the future
