It was great we had a Cheer competition to go to and chose this location because it was close to our destination. We will definitely be staying here again for State finals!

The mattress sets need to be replaced, the reast of the room was fine, my bed creaked every time I moved, indicating a worn out boxspring. Every time I got up in the night, my noisy bed would wake up my friend in his bed, making him to get up to use the bathroom. I wish the pool would have been open, it was 80 degrees that day. The staff was friendly and professional, but they had the usual 6a - 9a breakfast, worthless if you go out at night, which we did. Probaby nuke food anyway.

Very clean hotel
It looks like an older building that has been completely renovated. The rooms and bathrooms are simple and very clean. This hotel is a typical go-to for me for overnight trips to Birmingham.

property was neat and clean, Staff was friendly. easy check in/out. Room was clean. However, the noise of the fans was almost unbearable. The light in the bathroom was connected to the fan and could not be turned off. there needed to be a small, magnified makeup mirror in bath as well. The bottom of the bathtub had a curved/slopping bottom that made for a dangerous hazard of falling and injury. The floor was very slippery with no carpet or non-skid rug and because the comfy bed was so high it was hard to not slip and fall when this short older lady tried to get out of it...or the chair...or the desk.

Staff was very friendly, check-in very smooth. However, when you’re pulling in the lot for the first time and in the parking lot there’s a black suburban with 4-5 DEA agents with rifles drawn on a man face down in the parking lot, that’s the first red flag. Second, the TV and channel options were dated back to the 90’s, same with WiFi, breakfast was well done by the staff, it was mediocre at best. Very noisy in the hallway at night. Room was maintained and restocked every day. Not bad for a one night stay over - wouldn’t stay any longer if not required to.

It could have been a bit cleaner & could definitely stand an update. My biggest complaint is having the breakfast behind a door that requires your hotel key. Is bagel burglary really a problem in Homewood?? I was going to grab some quick coffee before an early appointment, while the person with me proceeded to checkout & load the car. I'd already given him my key, so had to leave at 6:15am without much needed coffee.

It was very quiet and clean although a previous guest had colored on the both sides of the bathroom door and it had not been washed off and the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it but neither of those effected our stay. Wish there would have been extra blankets as it was a cool night
