The staff were very welcoming. The room smelled stale. This property needs a recarpetimg and the fabric on the wall needs to go. I think the carpet and the wall fabric made the room smell.

It was an older hotel with a strange layout, but the rooms were very spacious and clean and hotel in great condition. The front desk people and everyone else that worked there were super friendly.

Clean hotel but not near anything. Sleep was good.
Booked the hotel to recover after 24 hours straight of international travel coming home from visiting the parents. Hotel was mostly clean and check in was easy. I don’t know if the carpet in the hall was dirty or just unfortunately patterned. Beds appeared clean, bathroom was clean, but the rooms overall are dated. Hotel isn’t near any food that you can walk to but that’s whatever.

No one told us about the construction
The hotel itself was nice but the staff had bad attitudes and never informed us of any construction going on. After driving for 8 hours to get there I was exhausted and looking forward to sleeping in on a Saturday morning. Instead me and my husband were woken at 6:30am to the sound of stomping and men yelling. We called the front desk and were informed they were having roof work done right above us. It would have been nice to know that before checking in, I would have asked to be moved. There was only roof work being done above us, no where else. Ridiculous

I realize it’s an older building, but the lighting in the rooms, specifically the bathrooms, is lacking. Also the water pressure and hot water temperature could use some serious improvements.

Walking into the property smelled really fresh. Upon arrival into the room there was trash in the waste paper basket and red lipstick on the upper portion of the shower curtain. The faucet to the tub/shower wasn’t securely attached. The sliding door leading out to the patio was inoperative because it wouldn’t lock. The body wash dispenser was empty by day two (how often is it refilled when rooms are cleaned). The alarm clock is 2 hours behind which made me late for the event I came in town for. I stayed in room 126 from Thursday September 5 thru Sunday September 8 2024. I’ve stayed at several Marriott properties and this does not met their standards. The staff was very professional and friendly. And the beds were very comfortable.

Poor quality and service
Air conditioning didn’t work. Smoke alarm went off at 3 am & hotel staff didn’t know what to do. We took it off the wall. Room smelled moldy. Definitely not worth what we paid. Not going back here when we are in the area.

My room reeked of mildew to the point I turned the air off and kept all of my clothes in my suitcase so they wouldn’t smell. I was never able to get more than like warm water for the shower no matter where I put the nozzle or how long I waited. We will not be coming back.

It's clear the people working here work hard to make the guest experience as pleasant as possible. Public areas were well-maintained, and the courtyard had a pleasant atmosphere. The gym equipment needs some maintenance and updating, but it certainly isn't the worst gym I've used. The HVAC system for parts of the building struggle against the humidity; my room was fine, but a coworker's room on the opposite side of the building was musty. Similarly, my hot water was fine, but theirs was non-existent.
