Hotel is in a great location, rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only issue we have with this hotel is the price of food and drinks - it is extortionate and just plain greedy for average food. Save your money and walk 10 mins to resort world. Plenty of options and better quality!

No working room phone n not big enough mini fridge
The hotel was amazing, expensive, food was out of this world. However we had a problem with the room phone which cudnt be fixed. And nothing more was said about it. And the fridge for the room, was tiny, not enough to fit anything in it, especially medication items. However concierge and check in and all the staff were friendly. We was allowed to do early check in n late checkout. We were given a pull out bed too. Pool was beautiful, slightly cold. Overall a good stay despite the circumstances.

So much was awful about this hotel - more like a 2 star than 4 star Booked an executive but informed that it was next to lift shaft. That should be classed as a standard not executive room. Got downgraded to accessible room (I use a scooter for distance) room was far from being accessible- doorway too narrow & door would need to be automatic. Bathroom was accessible. On the subject of accessible doorways - the main entrance is anything but accessible being in a tight S curve design - impossible to navigate even with the best scooter in terms of handling. Even if you go in through the banquet suite, you still have to navigate heavy internal doors. Why have a shift change of reception staff at prime check in time. Check in was horrendously slow, staff could not give a damn. Where is the information on room service dinner. I used the QR code on the mirror but nowhere did it give details on what can be ordered for room service. Why wasn’t this information given at check in when I gave my credit card for the sole purpose of having room service. If the hotel wasn’t on site of the NEC, I believe it would close due to poor service and obviously poor management that does not expect better standards from their staff. Why on a Sunday morning did I have house keeping opening or attempting to open the door 3 times from 9.45 to 11.30 - check out was 12 noon!!! And on leaving the hotel not one member of housekeeping even acknowledged me. On leaving the hotel the pavement was blocked.

No warning (after long drive to hotel) that at check in longest line I have ever experienced (as a professional staying at hotels weekly here & abroad). Not advised of facilities i.e. breakfast times etc at check in. Lobby/check in area very poor - decorations falling down. Unable to obtain requested tea bags.

Comfortable but let down
Very comfortable stay. Let down by the fact that had to wait over an hour for mask to be served in the restaurant and despite requesting an extra pillow, one never materialised.

Lovely hotel but cleanliness an issue
We attended an event at this hotel which was lovely however bed sheets were dirty. the view as lovely as well as the amazing breakfast butt hey are overshadowed by the unclean sheets.

Long queue to check in. Car park is very potholed: watch your ankles! Maintenance knocked on the door and came in twice whilst I was asleep - not sure why? First time at this hotel for a few years. It really is rather tired now.

Nice hotel. Cold rooms
All good but rooms are very cold unless aircon heating on which makes it then very noisy. If turned off the wind howls through the aircon pipes and is still very noisy.

Requested manager response for a broken bed, not dealt with and no contact as yet. Over £200 for a night spent on sofa cushions, 40 min for housekeepers to respond to the bed issue at 01:00; exhausted. Not what you expect and not impressed. Booked for 3 adults, 2 mugs, 2 towels, no sofa bed…. Avoid

Long time to check in
A bit of a disaster on arrival it took 2 members of staff to find my reservation. I went to check in and it took over half an hour to find my reservation, to find my room I couldn’t stay in as the air con wasn’t working in that part of the hotel so they downgraded my room which included the executive lounge. Luckily I challenged them and they put executive lounge access and breakfast along with free parking due to the long checking in time.
