Lovely stay
Lovely place to stay close to Birmingham City Centre. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly on checking in. Breakfast was buffet style and it was hot and plentiful. Shower was powerful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Great value for money.

Average stay, manic breakfast.
The lady on check-in desk spoke so quietly, I could not make out what she was saying. I had to tell her my postcode 3 times for ger to get it right. Room was clean and comfortable but the bed was small. Breakfast was manic. The area was not big enough for the number of guests. Coffee machine was ouf of order. My wife had to wait 15 minutes for hot food to be replenished. Didn't appear to be enough staff. The staff present worked really hard. Seemed to be a lot of dogs in the hotel. I've had better experiences staying in a hotel. The bar stayed open very late if you got back late after a night out.

The staff friendly nice that it had small bar with a limited drink selection but adequate so could have child drink. Breakfast selection was good would probably use again as we go to Scotland from Devon a couple times a year so nice stop before getting on the m6

Value at some cost
The rooms were a little run down, we had two rooms and one stank of smoke. Breakfast was included but was below average. Great value for money on the face of it, however should have paid a little more for a better standard. Staff were friendly and if the room hadn’t of been smoked in, might of felt like we had value for money.

restaurant ok if you want pizza or toasties at weekends, as 'normal' menu is monday to friday only. certain member of reception staff has obviously lost their tongue, as when we checked in we didn't even get a hello.

Great hotel. A little gem
I was very pleasantly surprised with the staff friendliness, the room was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed. The bed was also comfortable which I find unusual in a cheaper hotel. Would definitely stay at again. And there is a nice pub/restaurant at the end of the carpark serving carvery and pub grub. The breakfast was good and included in the price too

Very helpful and friendly staff.
The staff were very friendly and very very helpful. It was a very busy breakfast time and they found us a table in a seperate room due to it being so busy but even offered to collect us breakfast as soon as more was available. They couldnt help enough. Thank you so much!

The air con/heating didn’t work in our room, breakfast was absolute carnage! It was a free for all, there was no plates, no cutlery, the coffee machine was only dispensing black coffee despite it advertising lattes mocha hot chocolate etc, the milk had ran out, there was a wait for food, sausages, has browns, bread, no cups, no glasses, there was just not enough seating or service to accommodate the amount of guests for breakfast, considering what was paid for breakfast this was a poor show. The room however was clean and fairly quiet, the only problem being anytime anyone opened a door in the corridor it rattled our door. The room was clean but other than that there was nothing great about this stay.
