This property is not in safe repair and should NOT be available for rent, nor in a good area. The ceiling plaster in the bathroom was flaking into the tub as I was showering, the flooring throughout was split and peeling, the room's fixtures such as lamps and electrical receptacles were caked with gunk, some of the sockets I would not use for fear of getting shocked, the stairs to the third floor were wobbling and handrail was sticky with years of filth, parking area is dark and creepy, as several guys were always hanging around in dark areas of parking lot. This property has numerous piles of what looks like re-purposed construction debris lying around, parking lot in poor condition. I could go on and on, but I won't. I cannot believe Red Roof Inn would allow their name to be put on this property, or that Travelocity would be offering it on their site. I have never felt a need for a review like this, and I have stayed at some rather sketchy lodgings in my years.

Just say NO - This is not a good area. PROS - Shower had good pressure and the water was hot. The fridge and microwave worked. The staff was nice. CONS - This is a bad area, do not stay here. The property says newly renovated, it's not, it's gross. It says it's completely smoke free which just means that you can't smoke in your room so everyone smokes cigarettes and pot right outside the room and then the air conditioner brings the smell into your room. We saw drug deals in the parking lot, at one point 3 cop cars were at the hotel.

We Will Avoid in the Future
Check-in was pleasant enough & the front desk clerk assured us it would be a quiet stay. It wasn't. The night desk clerk had to be contacted at about 04:00 to address loud carnival-style music that had been playing for hours coming from a truck parked in the hotel's lot. The employee said he wasn't aware of loud music, he couldn't hear it. Apparently his duties do not include walking the property. The floors were sticky, the bed was bad, it wasn't clean.

Everything about this place was shady to me even as I pulled up to it. My room smelt of smoke and it was supposed to be smoke free per the sign on the door. Smelt stale in the bathroom and water pressure was horrible. I parked in the back and when I went to my car in the morning it was full of these black ants. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There was trash all around the elevator, hundreds of cigarette butts by the stairs, a piece of floor was missing in the middle of the room and worst of all, huge pieces of hair on our washcloth and sheets.
