Below average experience
The hotel needs to a major remodeling, the rooms are humid and smell of mildew. The hallways and lobby are very dark and not air conditioned. Our room had a strong cigarette smell so we requested to try a different room, so the clerk promptly gave us a new one which was better but had a mildew smell. Overall it was a poor quality experience, but I will say the attendant was very polite and attentive.

Great value overnight stay
We stopped here for an overnight on the way home after a beach trip. It was great for a one night stay, easy to access, felt safe, room was fine. Breakfast was a little scanty, but the coffee was good. Great value!

Conveniently located for our purpose. It is a pretty area. It was clean & staff was friendly. A toaster, bread, bagels or muffins would have been great for more variety at breakfast. Not much to offer as it was. Also, our door was left ajar by a member of housekeeping when cleaned.

We had 2 overnight stay's there as we traveled to and from Nashville. It was fine for an overnight stay, but if we were to stay longer, there are no place to unpack your luggage into.

Clean, safe, friendly staff
The hotel was very clean. One staff member in particular stands out as exceptional. His name was Emerson. He went out of his way to be friendly, courteous, and helpful. I spent quite a bit of time in the lobby waiting on family. I observed his interactions with easy and difficult customers. He was patient with everyone.
