Just a very basic hotel. They seem to be updating the place. My biggest complaint was there was literally about 4 or 5 cars in the parking lot. As soon as night hit the room upstairs sounded like running and people moving furniture, then a bit later people were talking in the hallway about 3am the sound of something cranking and voices in the hallway again. I didn't sleep at all. Went to check out their breakfast: it consisted of a mini muffin, apple and watered down orange juice. It's basic - it's super 8 but I do expect to sleep. Have no idea what all the noise was about.

Staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean. Only negative was of the 3 lamps only 1 worked. Also need to sell water in the vending machine. Plenty of parking and Jim and Nicks BBQ is a nice walk away.

Practical, clean and maintained, good value
I stay here overnight regularly when I'm in Birmingham for a performance downtown. The staff is friendly, the location is just off the interstate and there are places to grab a meal around - you may have to go to the next exit or two if you want something specific. The breakfast is very minimal so just expect that. In my view the stay is a good value without extras.

This motel should be permanently closed. Place was nasty and rooms were dingy. No proper ventillation in room. Stale smell greets you as soon as you open the room door. Rooms are tiny. Hardly any space to move around in the room without hurting your legs, knees or toes. Saw live bugs and roaches in numerous places minding their business 24*7. Breakfast was horrible too. Took forever to get hot water. Saw someone defecating in public on the left side of the property. How we wish expedia did the right thing by letting us cancel after we checked in so that we could get our money back and find a better place for the night.

Employees were excellent and very friendly. Room was decently clean, however I found a left over sauce cup in the room. Bed were comfortable, but the sheets, and blankets were itchy and not thick enough for the winter weather. Over all it was decent, but not my favorite.

The rooms are sold as non smoking, but as soon as you get off the elevator you can tell it has been a smoking facility for a long time. There was even a cigarette burn in my comforter on the bed. The hair dryer didnt work. The breakfast is VERY light with coffee and either an apple or a muffin. Basically its what i would expect for the price.
