This cozy old farmhouse is located in the middle of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park in Bischofsmais to enjoy nice relaxing days. Whether for fewer or up to 12 people - there is also a baby in the 'dovecote' and a small child in the 'backtrog' - you can experience 178 sqm of living space. Take a tour of the house with us:
From the street and the two car parking spaces, we go around the house and next to the wooden shed through an arched wooden gate. Then the bakehouse on the left (try baking your own bread there !?).
Along the house, right through the front door, we enter the original hallway. To the right up the stairs is the bedrooms. Straight ahead, however, is the former milk chamber, converted into a bathroom with a toilet. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The trap door next to it leads into the small, cool basement. On the left we get into the large kitchen. They have all the support of a modern, fully equipped household, such as: B. Dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, coffee machine, electric hand mixer and bread slicer. Of course you can also cook on the old wood stove, like the former farmers. A small dining table for 6 people or the large dining table for up to 12 people are available with all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Opposite the kitchen door - across the hallway - you will reach the former stable. Get used to the fact that you may be allowed to sleep in the 'pigsty' or read an exciting book in the 'cowshed'. Opposite the 'cowshed' is the storage and electrical room. The whole house is equipped with a convenient night storage heater.
If we went up the wooden stairs in the stable aisle, we would have got into the barn years ago. Today it is a living room that is equipped with a television and stereo. We have set up a fireplace here for fun or for cool summer evenings. You can chop the wood yourself in the woodshed or take what has already been chopped. Through a door you get into the hallway of the former living area. Here are two more bedrooms in addition to a toilet. and the 'dovecote' (a little room with a baby bed and changing table). The linen is in the dresser.
The storage staircase leads up to the roof. 4-5 children can be accommodated here. By the way, we have a high children's chair for the little ones to eat, the two stairs are secured with child bars. In the large garden there is a swing and a play house, surrounded by fruit trees.
Next to the house entrance there is a covered outdoor seating area with an open grill. A table tennis table with net and rackets is waiting in the shed to be set up if necessary.
