Bring your boat or UTV's when you spend time here! With 155' of frontage on the Black River (fence along water to help keep children safe) and a private boat dock (boat landing is just 2-3 minutes away) while also having the ability to ride your ATV/UTV from this property (city streets are atv/utv legal) to the trail system (5 minutes away) without having to trailer, this is the perfect get-a-way for the outdoor enthusiast! If that isn't enough there are several hiking, biking, snowshoeing & ski areas along with an 18-hole golf course just three minutes away. In the evening enjoy cooking on the furnished gas grill or sitting around the fire ring telling stories about your day. Indoors there is a foosball table, virtual pin ball machine, F&F driving game, electronic dart board or card and board games to play. Walk to the downtown area and enjoy the small-town atmosphere of the local restaurants and bars. Washer & dryer on site.

Great place just not ideal for crafting with more than 4 people.
Was a nice place, clean, easy to get in and out. Nicely updated older home. Basement is smaller than pictures make it look. They had plenty towels they were small so need two to dry off. Our group had to divide between upstairs and downstairs to craft but would be great for family stay.

We had our older kids up from out of town for a late Christmas. ( 6 adults, 2 children near 12, and two grandkids (6) and (4) months. The property was large enough to accommodate all of us. Clean, spacious and cute. Game room and games were a bonus.

Clean and organized
The house was very clean. The notes explaining procedures at checkout were very helpful. Having an access code was perfect! The game room was definitely a highlight for everyone and the games were popular too. The host was extremely patient and helpful. Being able to get down to the river easily was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Best little getaway!
We have stayed here twice as this is great for a family. Close to ATV trails, great restaurants, fishing, and even having an arcade in the basement! Communication with owners is so easy. Best place.

Overall it was good, one downfall was the 4 beds upstairs didn’t have a bathroom on the same floor. Another downfall, 1 TV in basement with just a couch.Luckily weather was nice, so we weren’t at the house much. Picture showed 2 recliners, but they were in living room with no TV. GREAT LOCATION!!! And beds were comfortable!

We stayed here for our ATV vacation. We were able to access the ATV trails after a short ride on local highway. It felt odd to ride on the road, but knew it was legit after we passed by the police and they didn't 'blink'! 😊 They had more than enough supplies, including bath towels. Owner was very responsive at every question asked prioir to our stay. The game room in the basement was fun, even for us older people. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time. We really enjoyed the game room but would have loved to have more chairs / furniture to sit on to enjoy watching TV and an outdoor table to use to play games and eat. But overall very nice place to stay!!

Great Family vacation
This property was perfect for the 6 of us along with two dogs. It was right on the river where we could easily kayak and jet ski during the day. We walked the Foundation trail and explored the state park some. We also had a blast in the game room! Lots of great memories were made!

Veey clean and spacious house inside and out! Great view right on rhe river and fun fishing too! Bluegills, bass and pearch! Wound definitely recommended this lil gem of a rental!

Perfect Spot to bring the family and the furry children
6 adults and a few furry doggos and a pontoon boat. Property was exactly as listed. We were all comfortable and felt we had plenty of room to spread out inside, outside and down in the boat. River was quiet and perfect, boat launch was a breeze and the sandbars were fun to pack snacks and just enjoy the water and atmosphere. Thanks for a great summer family get away.

Very clean. The only suggestion I have is better patio furniture. Otherwise happy with our stay!
Enjoyed the fire pit and fishing off the dock! Good communication. The grill did run out of gas when we were cooking. But that was easily handled.

We were able to enjoy kayaking, fishing and SxS all at this location. The place was super clean and had all the amenities one would need. The gaming area downstairs is so much fun. It was a great place to stay with our teenage kids. Close to lot's of things to do. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Property description could use some editing.
I should start out by saying that we stay at vrbo properties often for atv trips in Wisconsin and South Dakota. This home had some very great qualities but not quite what we're used to staying in. Starting out with the pros: the house was immaculately clean. The check in process was seamless. Location was good. Now for the things that would have affected us booking if we had known ahead of time. The air conditioning situation on this 100 degree weekend was AWFUL. We couldn't get the thermostat to go below 72 degrees and the upstairs (where more than 50% of the guests have to sleep) was not air conditioned. There was a window unit in the hallway, but once you close doors to go to bed, there was no ventilation in the bedrooms and reached over 80 degrees each night. Thank goodness there were fans provided in each room or we would have had to leave. We were not able to get much rest with the temperature, although beds were very comfortable. The setup should be more clearly stated. 2 bedrooms on the top level, one on main, 1 bathroom on main, and the other bathroom in the basement. Using the bathroom in the middle of the night, some people had to climb 2 floors of very tiny and narrow stairs. There is only 1 tv and it was in the basement, where there is only room for 3 people to sit. I understand most people don't watch tv on vacation but we wanted to watch football since it was so hot out. Overall a beautiful home, just didn't work great as a vacay rental.
