The Inn at Blackstone has a unique history that gave it a lot of charm, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Hidden Gem!
This is a beautiful place to stay. It is historic but has been modernized. The kitchenette in the room is very convenient, breakfast was great, and the common area on the 2nd floor was warm and inviting. We will definitely stay there again when visiting family in that area.

Perfect Stay!
We went for our son's graduation and were only there one night but the hotel was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we slept will. I should also add the room was very quiet. The walls are obviously thick since it's a remodeled girls college so you didn't hear any noise from upstairs or next door.

What a gem! Front desk personnel were amazing! The Inn has a history that is fun to learn about and brings elements to the property you will not find anywhere else. The outdoor fire pits with rocking chairs, indoor heated pool, extensive grab and go refreshments and essentials, tall ceilings throughout the property including our room, hardwood floors, hot breakfast with waffles, fruit, eggs, bacon and breakfast fries, a complimentary town bus to explore the quaint town of Blackstone - shall I stop here? Don’t miss this one!!

The hotel was so unique. The staff was exceptional. The heated pool was very nice but we loved the fire pits and veranda. The grounds were beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again.

Virginia who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pits. The downfall was our room, there was hair in the shower at least six long dark hairs and a used q tip still on the floor. The room was just not well cleaned all over. Luckily the sheets were nice and clean and the bed was comfy. The walls are paper thin you can hear your neighbors talking and alarms going off so loudly they sound like they are in your room.

If you're in the area you must check out the Blackstone Inn. Once a girls' college, this school has been renovated as an inn and it's amazing to experience it. So much better than the standard hotel/motel plus it's comfortable, clean and teeming with history. We will definitely be back!

I was skeptical about staying here, but I was pleasantly surprised upon pulling up. The facility is a remodeled former women’s college. I love the fact they kept some of the original feel to the Inn. The staff was beyond accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I will highly recommend The Inn at Blackstone. We frequent the area once a year and will definitely stay again.

Would definetly come back!
This was a one-night stay, and I had no real issues. The room and bed were comfortable but about the size of a walk-in closet. It's obvious they are trying hard to make the best of the space and they certainly get credit for that. The floor in my room needed some TLC, which is why I did not give it five stars. It's banged up pretty well, and areas seem to be unfinished. Don't get me wrong; it did not interfere with my stay, just the difference between a four & five-star review. What stood out was the service. The entire staff was gracious throughout my short stay. When I returned from dinner off-property, I was having a chocolate crisis, and they had nothing in the sundry area to satisfy my chocolate, gooey meltdown. Then, to my rescue came the front desk clerk, who graciously dug into her purse, pulled out a mini Butterfinger bar, and saved the day... She definitely made a friend for life that day. I would absolutely recommend staying at this property if you are ever in Blackstone, Virginia.
