We booked this room solely on the fact it listed having a hot tub. We don't find rooms with hot tubs for the fun of it. I travel with my handicap mother who requires them after a long day. I was mad and disappointed that this was a lie and we had to suffer.

Was just a stop over on a family trip. 2nd time we have stayed here. Check in was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was above average compared to most free breakfast. Will stay again next year again when passing thru.

Just ok
Booked room had not been cleaned, but front desk staff did not know that. They had no more of that type of room, so ended up putting us in two separate rooms (not connecting). Apologized (as did manager upon departure), but no compensation and just a “I don’t know what happened” response. We didn’t try the breakfast, so no idea if good or not. It is very convenient to highway. The hotel is in need of updating/refreshing - peeling caulking, cracks in the wall. Overall decent.

This has to be our best stay yet in Blackwell. As this is our halfway point when traveling from Texas to Iowa. I will never stay anywhere else!

The property was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our fridge had food from a previous guest in it which was a little gross and the shower had a really poor caulking job that made the shower look dirty. It wasn’t dirty but had the appearance due to the caulking. The AC worked like a charm as the temps were really warm. The pancake machine for breakfast would’ve been nice if it was working correctly and it would’ve been nice if there were two as you have to wait a while for the pancakes to be ready.

3 of the 4 light bulbs were burnt out when we got there, our room was so dark and having problems seeing this was hard having 1 dim light in the room. Wrnt and asked for new bulbs and was given 3 used bulbs to use
