Perfect location for seeing lots of Dorset
From here we visited Corfe Castle, Brownsea Isla, studlands and Swanage. It was a very reasonable price for comforable beds and a quiet place to retreat, with lovely views to wake up to. The farm shop with local produce and fresh eggs is a real bonus.

Family short break
Lovely lodge. Found online an booked at last minute last yr during summer hols for a 4 night break. Great location to visit Weymouth beach, monkey world and tank museum among other places. Had everything we needed an more and open space for a 7yr old an 14yr old to run around an play games in the field. Loved evening walks up the working farm meeting the farm dog, goats an friendly sheep on route to a public footpath that can go on for miles through fields with views. Will definitely be returning

Nice short break
We stayed as a family of 5, 2 adults, 3 children-16, 13 and 11. Enough space for us all and everything needed was provided within the lodge. We stayed during non peak season, so our 3 boys used the field outside the lodge to play football, which was a massive hit. I believe during peak season, this is used for camping. Very nice quiet and peaceful. Lodge is okay, is clean enough but I wouldn’t class it as luxury but then, you get what you pay for and it’s very reasonably priced. We stayed here as we were visiting the Tank Museum which is only 15 mins away and Weymouth 30 mins. Shops within a 10 minute drive also. Hosts friendly and they sell some lovely eggs, we bought some to take home! Would definitely return.

What a lovely site and so much to do nearby
We had a wonderful week at the lodge. The site was excellent, with lots of privacy and space for the kids to play outside. The farm shop also stocked lots of great produce. Hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. A wonderful stay and we hope to return. Thank you!

Comfortable and peaceful lodge
We are a family of 5 (me and my husband, our two girls -11 and 8 years old- and grandma). We had an amazing time, very peaceful and great view. We enjoyed to sit on the porch in the evening, have coffee and homemade cake from the farm’s shop playing board games (family time away from technology!!) The owner is very welcoming. The farm has a huge field, my girls enjoyed to play around and even that there was more guests, it felt very friendly and safe. The lodge was very comfortable and had everything you need to stay for a couple of days. The supermarkets (Tesco, Morrisons, Iceland) are about 10 minutes away and we wanted to visit Durdle door which was 20 minutes driving. Overall was a great experience. We would gladly stay again.

Ok but could be better
Lovely location, friendly host. Enjoyed our stay as lots to do in area. beds clean and really comfortable. Lovely large camping field in front which was empty of visitors so granddaughter could run around but might not be so empty in summer. Cleaning could be a bit better, oven pan still had crumbs from previous visitor, tv remote was sticky and we had to clean it. Cupboard door under washbasin in bedroom was broken and the washbasin had no cold water com8ng out of tap. Our main drawback was the cover for the septic tank is well above ground and was attracting numerous flies so needed to keep windows closed and could not sit on verandah as was at same end as septic tank. Used picnic mat and sat outside at other end of caravan and flies were no problem. With a few repairs and adjustments this could be a really lovely place but not there yet.

Lovely peaceful lodge for our short breakaway
A lovely peaceful two-night stay in Lupin Lodge, just what we needed as a base for our visit to Monkey World. The hosts were so helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed when we checked in and checking on us after the temperatures dropped overnight to see if we'd been warm enough. Simple lodge, with lovely furnishings to make it homely and well-equipped throughout for our short stay. Two boys enjoyed making use of the field with a football!

Nice little getaway
Accommodation was fine - no issues. Quiet location with no light pollution. 3 adults and 1 child staying and we had all we needed. Very accommodating hosts - lent us a hairdryer. Milk and eggs available 24hrs. Accommodation could possibly do with a bit of TLC but this did not affect our stay. Thank you for having us :)

Not as advertised
We thought that we were booking a 'luxury pinewood lodge' but what we got was caravan with some wood cladding tacked to the exterior whilst inside we were faced with peeling wallpaper and paint, mouldy blinds and a broken bathroom window. The advertisement said, the accommodation was spacious but the living area was small (only just seating 4) and one of the bedrooms could not comfortably accommodate adults, housing 2 tiny, single beds that were really only suitable for children. It is unfair that this property is being marketed as a luxurious lodge. It is not luxurious and it not a lodge, it is caravan and not a well maintained one at that. I am trying to be fair, I'm not complaining about the one night of cold water (as that issue was fixed when it was raised) nor the outside light that didn't work and meant we felt unsafe returning to the van after dark but it is not the accommodation it is marketed as. I have shared this feedback with the caravan owners prior to posting.
