Situation
Our house is located in a villa area, at the end of a dead end. You benefit from exceptional tranquility, but you are nevertheless close to historic sites, cruises on Lake Geneva.
.Our garden and the neat surroundings are our pride!
Only a few steps away you will find the famous terraced vineyards of Lavaux, since 2007 in the UNESCO heritage inventory.

The apartment
is on the upper ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need: dishes, utensils, pots and this in sufficient quantity. You can even ask us for a complete inventory. It has a 'food-center', i.e. large fridge / freezer, oven, induction cooker, microwave, dishwasher, capsule and filter coffee machines, etc.
The bathroom is equipped with an ARTWEGER bathtub / shower (entry on full feet), large sink and WC. Besides this bathroom there is a small utility room with washing machine and dryer. In this room are another sink and toilet. The use of these machines is included in the rental price.
Television (Swisscom network) and WLAN are available (free).
In the living room there are two armchairs and a sofa bed (futon) offering, if necessary, two additional sleeping places.
On the terrace we recently installed a grill fireplace with the necessary accessories. 4 lounge chairs and a table with chairs are also available.
The twin bedroom has an area of approx. 16 m2.
The small bedroom has 12 m2 with a 140 cm bed. But there we always leave an extra bed in this room.

It is a non-smoking house inside the house and we ask our guests to respect this rule. Pets not accepted.

Payment
After a firm reservation we send our confirmation with the information (bank details) for 50% deposit of the rental price.
We maintain this reservation for 5 working days. After receipt of the transfer we re-confirm the final reservation. Without a deposit we cannot guarantee the reservation. Thank you for your understanding.

No refund if the cancellation takes place within 2 weeks of the stay.
Extension of stay only possible with the consent of the lessor (subject to availability).
In case of early departure, no refund.

Cleaning during the stay
During the stay we cannot offer a cleaning service. If desired we try to arrange staff but this without any guarantee from us. All the usual cleaning tools are available in the homes.

Park Place
in front of the house.

The region offers many possibilities for all kinds of holidaymakers:
- Walks in the terraces of the nearby vineyards and in Lavaux in front of our door: UNESCO World Heritage since 2007.
- The famous Château de Chillon is 7 km from our house.
- In Corsier-sur-Vevey it is absolutely necessary to visit ‘Chaplin’s World’ (4 km from our house). This recently opened museum shows all the facets of this famous artist, his life and how he was not understood by the political world, which is why he lived for many years until his death in this corner. It’s not a ‘dust’ museum, but there are many reconstructions of film studios.
- A little further you can visit the saltworks of Bex (caves - see attached image).
- At the mouth of the Rhône, at Bouveret there is the Swiss Vapeur Parc with numerous model trains large enough to sit on and do the tours through the park.
- Even next to the Swiss Vapeur Parc you can have fun in the Aquaparc.
- 35 km from approx. from our house you can visit Gruyère with its castle and museum (the exhibition of figures from the film ‘Alien’ created by H. R. Gyger); the demonstration cheese dairy where they make the original Gruyère AOC cheeses; the Nestlé chocolate factory in Orbe.
- The region offers activities for everyone, i.e. short and long hikes, through the vineyards or on the heights, at the edge of Lake Geneva or in nature reserves.

For sunny days we highly recommend a cruise on one of the restored 'Belle Epoque' boats, all of which are 100 years old and over. The view of the vineyard terraces from Lake Geneva will remain unforgettable.

Let's not forget the cultural events of the region:
- The Montreux Jazz Festival - every year from the end of June to mid-July
- Musical September Vevey-Montreux for lovers of classical music with world famous performers.
- The big Christmas market in Montreux - from the end of November until December 24.
- The great Fête des Vignerons which will take place 2019 in Vevey with several thousand extras.
- During the months of July and August every Saturday the great folk market in Vevey

For our guests we issue the 'Montreux-Riviera' card. With this card you benefit from discounts of up to 50% on admission to museums, the cruise on the Haut-Lac and all the attractions described above.

Our review
Carla & Hans are welcoming and even invited us into their home for a glass of local wine. The home is set in a safe, beautiful area. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, fresh fruit, homemade preserves and a bottle of wine. The home was fresh and tidy. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend having a car if you plan on staying here though, since it would be impossible to walk to and the village of Blonay is a fair distance. My suggestion to the owners would be to improve the beds, however as the mattresses and pillows were old and uncomfortable.

Warmherziger, persönlicher Ort
Man wohnt mit Host in einem kleinen Mehretagenhaus, die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse - Schlafen in Abrahams Schoß. Trotz Bushaltestelle braucht man aber ein Fahrzeug.

Top Wohnung
Eine derart top eingerichtete Wohnung haben wir noch nie vorgefunden. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Auch der Kontakt mit dem im selben Haus wohnenden Vermieter war nur positiv. Leider war unsere Ferienwoche ziemlich verregnet. Umso wichtiger war es, hier einen tollen Rückzugsort zu haben.

Traumhaft schön!
Wir haben in der bestens ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung und dem gepflegten, blühenden Garten mit Sitzplatz, Stühlen, Liegen, Tisch und Grill sehr schöne, erholsame Tage verbracht. Das Haus ist dank seiner verkehrsfreien Lage ein Ort der Ruhe, zugleich ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radfahrten. Die Ferienwohnung mit den zwei Schlafzimmern, zwei Toiletten, die eine mit Bad/Dusche, mit dem grosszügigen Wohnraum und der offener Küche enthielt alles, was sich Gäste wünschen können, damit sie sich während ihres Aufenthaltes wohl fühlen. Die offene Küche ist äusserst grosszügig konzipiert und mit Geschirr, Besteck und Geräten so reich bestückt, wie wir es andernorts kaum je in gleicher Weise angetroffen hatten. Frau und Herr Koller haben uns äusserst freundlich empfangen. Für das Auto und die Fahrräder hatten wir je einen eigenen Park- und Abstellplatz. Als Willkommensgruss fanden wir bei unserer Ankunft eine spezielle Flasche Weisswein aus Blonay sowie einen Früchtekorb vor. Frau und Herr Koller waren jederzeit bereit, auf unsere Fragen einzugehen und uns zu beraten, wie sich unser Aufenthalt erlebnisreich gestalten liess. Dazu hat auch die reiche Dokumentation beigetragen, die für uns bei unserer Ankunft bereit gelegt war. Wir haben es dank dem schönen Wetter genossen, im Garten zu sitzen, vor uns der weite Ausblick hin zu den Savoyer Bergen. Wir bewerten die Wohnung als exzellent.

Ganz tolle Ferienwohung
Wir haben unsere Ferien hier sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nette Leute, man fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön und bietet einen hervorragenden Innenausbau. Ganz gerne wieder!!! Die Umgebung ist absolut der Hammer und bietet unendlich viele Möglichkeiten für erlebnisreiche Ferien !!
