Nice Place To Stay
The Cascades is a very nice, updated old-style motel. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The room sizes and styles vary. We have stayed there twice. The first room we stayed in had a more updated and larger bathroom. The second time it was more standard to the hotels era. Smaller but still well maintained. The furniture is update along with the televisions. The hotel has a nice courtyard and a bar on site that serves food. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is pretty simple. Most importantly it is a very good value and comfortable place to stay close to but not on the IU campus.

Doesn't look like much from the outside and it is a Motel, but the rooms are clean, big and comfortable. I would stay here again. Location is great if you want to walk to an IU game.

Cascades Inn is a unique place. It's rooms are comfortable. Beds & Sheets great. It's a little Bohemian and we'd love to stay when the courtyard is blooming. Adequate Continental breakfast. Try Sneakers bar adjacent for a nice drink, bar food and pleasant staff.

Safe clean room for a one night stay after a football game. Really accommodating, nice staff. Heat was not working, but it got fixed. Let us check in early. Stairs snd walk ways crumbling a bit.

INFESTED WITH MICE! MICE IN THE ROOMS & THEY COME OUT AT NIGHT. The front desk is very kind here however, I was challenged in getting a refund even thought I left the room at 11:30pm with out staying the entire night. I was not going to stay with the MICE! They indicated a refund would be applied but since it was booked via Expedia that's essentially impossible to secure a refund. A combination of things but blame goes to the Cascades Inn as they are definitely aware that there is a tremendous infestation throughout.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior of this diamond in the rough. The rooms and common areas have been renovated and are clean and nice. They do an above-average complimentary breakfast. And it’s consistently less costly than its competitors.

Everything inside the walls is above and beyond what you might expect. The continental breakfast is well-stocked, just no hot food. Staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. The outside looks like it was once beautifully landscaped and then not kept up. We didn't care at all. The rooms are large. Furniture is not that comfortable, but there are enough options between sofa, desk chair, bed to figure something out. There is a steep walk out the back to a riverwalk. Maybe a one mile path along the creek that ends at a park. Really nice to stretch your legs without having to drive.

Cascading and wonderful indeed
It’s was very worthwhile. Checking in and out was easy and the receptionists were detail oriented. Room was easy to find and the king size bed was comfortable. Breakfast was light on options but I managed to make do with what they had. My only gripe was the lack of hand soap or sanitizer by the sinks.

This is an old facility but done up right and clean. The best part is Sleepers bar Sleeper and Johnny are great hosts! The live music was fantastic. The perennial gardens are natural and beautiful!
