property was quiet, very comfortable, but there was a large construction project across the street, that made the area hectic and unsafe (car crashes/police). The quiet can't be emphasized enough as it kept at bay the construction

A good hotel with all the amenities.
I refrained in the past staying here despite being Hilton brand fan due to the negative reviews of parking situations but then I decided to give it a chance and I am glad I did. It will be go forward our hotelnin Bloomington. Michael and Deante at front desk both were so helpful. Rooms and hotel itself was super clean. No issue with parking as long as you resonsibly hang the tag on your car's mirror. Close to every amenity. Breakfast was ok and that is the only area where i believe they can improve. Bread, waffle, scrambled egg, biscuits and gravy, fruits, muffins, etc were there but i wish if they can put some sausage, bacon etc too, but still whatever they had was good. Good value for the money this hotel is. We enjoyed our stay fully.

The staff were very courteous and pleasing. I found that my toilet in my hotel room was dirty. Look like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. The breakfast was extremely limited. The staff were very present to try to make the area very clean that was just not a lot to offer. I feel for the price could’ve expected a little more.

Typical Hampton, lots of nearby construction.
Hotel right by university campus. In mid August 2024 there was a lot of construction next door and competition for parking since many of the construction crew were staying at this Hampton. Otherwise a typical Hampton. Great huge dog park 5 minute drive away.

Completely filthy place! Despite being resonably priced for a typical hotel stay, this place is Way overpriced. There is no elevator and everything from the carpet to the windows were dirty. There is NO way this place is cleared to serve food. The room had an odor and stains. How are they allowed to be in business. We left and were not offered a refund. Didn't care! Left anyway. Absolutely unsanitary and disgusting place!

If I had known that this was the go-to spot for people from the college to come and drink and roam the parking lot I would not have stayed here. My room had a garbage can full of empties from the night before. The people at the desk were nice, but that's about it.

Comically Bad
The person working check-in that evening acted like talking to me was the last thing he wanted to be doing… ok fair. But I don’t think he made eye contact with me once and then he put the room keys down on the counter when my hand was outstretched to politely grab them from him. Just plain rude, he knew what he was doing. I wish I would’ve placed my ID on the counter rather than politely handing it to him. As soon as we walked inside out room, we heard the toilet running (never a good sign), it ran every 10 minutes and was very loud so we kept the bathroom door shut which was basically a cheap piece of plywood attached barnyard door style. The room was falling apart. The grout in the bathroom was cracked and dirty. The shower curtain had mildew on it and the bathroom wall was splattered with some brownish red fluid on the right side of the vanity. The vanity and all of the end tables in the bedroom were hanging off the wall at an angle which meant everything that was sat on the tables would slide right off unless they were sticky enough to stay put. I’m sad that I didn’t get any pictures of most of these things, but I definitely got a video of the end tables because it was honestly comical. Too bad you can’t upload videos to this review.
