Great find in London

First time at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised! I am assuming fairly recently refurbed - its part of a much large hotel The Royal National. I had a double room that was really big, very comfortable & had all the amenities I needed (kettle, hairdryer etc). Staff were friendly & welcoming and the hotel is in an excellent location - easy walking distance of British Museum, Holborn, Oxford Street plus tube, trains & buses! Slight niggles - no control on heat/cool in the room, its a bit of a labyrinth, wish reception had pointed out the map on the back of the paperwork, not particularly well sound insulated so could hear people chatting in the room next door plus noise from the road (this didn't keep me awake but worth mentioning). Overall excellent stay (especially for the price) and is definitely on my list of hotels to use again!

Great safe location. 5 minute walk to Russell Square tube station. Great breakfast and customer service. Highly recommend this hotel.
