The Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm

Stay on the farm! Enjoy the natural beauty of Nittany Meadow Farm during your stay in Centre County. Located minutes from State College and Penn State, this unique one-bedroom cottage was the original milk house at historic Nittany Meadow Farm. The cozy cottage offers a kitchen, 1 bathroom, a queen-size bed and living room. We can provide an air mattress in living room for 2 additional guests. During your stay, we’ll introduce you to our goats, who will beg you for treats and make you smile.

Nittany Meadow Farm is a working goat, beef and pig farm, and we live on the property in the main farmhouse, and also rent the three-bedroom Wagon Shed. We’re available if you need something or want to visit the animals!

We had a wonderful stay at the Milk House at Nittany Meadow Farm. We loved how close we were to Penn State especially after a long day/night at a concert at Beaver Stadium.

Most beautiful State College visit ever!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Milk House! We usually travel in larger groups, but the beauty, scenery, and sounds of the farm were truly enjoyed! Would love to come back on a non-football weekend when we have more time to soak it all in. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and pretty! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the milk houses. It was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and roomy. We loved the outdoor space and our children loved seeing the animals. Great location for visiting PSU.

Not only were Tara and Michael fantastic and welcoming hosts, but the cottage was both private and incredibly unique - waking up to hear the goats, getting the chance to learn about them and visit with them truly made the visit special. I came for Arts Fest and to visit family but I have never had such a lovely stay in the State College area! Thank you for sharing your farm with us!

Lovely Stay at the Milk House
I stayed at The Milk House while I was in town for a horse show. The cottage is extremely clean and well equipped. I was able to grab my dinner at the grocery store and eat it in the cute kitchen in the cottage. It is conveniently located to all the restaurants and still in the country. I didn't get to spend much time at the farm, but would definitely stay there again when I'm back at State College.

Coffee and Goats!
We've stayed on properties in a couple of different countries and several US states. This is by far our favorite property. Check-in and Check-out were easy. The Milk House is clean and comfortable. The kitchen and bath were well equipped and perfect for our needs. Having coffee by the barn, and interacting with the goats, chickens and steer was fantastic. It's nice and was centrally located for all our travels. A 10/10, will definitely recommend this to others, and hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Farm Guest House
We were in Central PA for a Family Reunion. We didn't get to spend much time at the property but it was the best place to come back to and relax! Morning coffee with the goats and the amazing view then back for a peaceful night sleep! Only wish I had more time to meet the animals and enjoy the surroundings. I would defiantly stay there again and highly recommend it! It had everything I could have needed! 5 STARS

This property is the GOAT!
That is, get a tour of the goat barn. Not only are they cute, but you will get a very informative explanation of how goat husbandry works. The apartment was just the right size for us, well furnished and equipped, out of State College proper but close to Penn State. Also close to Tussey Mountain and Rothrock State Forest. The proprietors were helpful, and fun to talk to and learn about their farm. All texts were quickly responded to. If you play golf, a course is just next door.

Wonderful Experience
This unique property was amazing! We've never had the experience of staying on a farm, and it was so much fun. The hosts allowed us to meet their goats, who were very cute. Despite being on a working farm, the lodging itself was spotless and very charming with a comfortable living area, cozy bed, large bathroom, and well-appointed kitchen/dining area. We will absolutely stay here again.
