We had an amazing stay at Boca de Agua. Caesar, the activities guide, was incredible. After booking the sunrise kayak tour with him on our first day, we booked a different activity with him every day.

Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful whenever asked. All employees went out of their way to assist us. The lagoon area was picturesque and serene. Food was generally good. Cons: Hotel is very expensive by local standards (equivalent or better hotels in the area are less than half the cost). Getting to the hotel requires a long drive from the highway on a poorly paved road and any transportation in or out of the hotel to the nearest town was $500 MXN each way so you were somewhat stranded at the resort. Food options at the resort were very expensive compared to local restaurants. No fitness center. Summary: Pretty hotel with good service but very overpriced (both for the room and for any food purchased) and isolated (expensive to leave the resort).

El hotel es muy pero muy bonito, pero podrían trabajar mucho más en la atención al cliente. La verdad es que es un hotel en su arquitectura hermoso y bien pensado. Pero les falta mucho para dar una atención al cliente de la altura de la arquitectura y del lugar donde está situado. Es una lástima. Con respecto a servicio a habitación, anoche pedí algo de cenar al cuarto, a la hora decidí cancelarlo ya que nunca lo recibí.

Superó mis expectativas
Increíble experiencia poder hospedarse en este hotel. Fui con mi pareja y fue perfecto para conectar con la naturaleza, ya que se encuentra en medio de la selva. La laguna es espectacular. De verdad, cada detalle está bien pensado y fuimos atendidos con excelente servicio y el restaurante flora es delicioso, especialmente los desayunos fueron nuestros favoritos. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para una escapada y relajar.
