Nice appearance but lacks critical things
Hotel appears very new and the rooms are really nice. However, we were very disappointed with two things. One is the accessibility from airport. From the map it seems that it is within 5 minutes of walk from the terminal. But no, it would take 33 minutes to walk. The problem is the wall around the airport. The website did advertise free shuttle. But when we called, to they said that there is no shuttle in the afternoon. The taxi cost us $15. Not happy about that given that this is advertised as airport hotel. Also, the hotel has no coffee maker in the room and they want extra $10 for it? The hotel doesn't have coffee station or coffee machine anywhere in the hotel. In fact, no vending machine of any kind in the hotel. We will not use this hotel again and will be sure to check on such things since hotels are always trying to find ways to reduce service while still maintaining al the glitzy advertisements. Also, there is almost nothing around the hotel area -- no restaurants, stores or transportation

FlyOn is perfect for a short trip to Bologna. I only had one day here with an early flight out. The airport shuttle is very convenient and the hotel is spacious and beautiful. Only downside of being near the airport is that a 20 minute taxi ride is required to get into Bologna proper. Overall I enjoyed my stay here!

On their website it’s published the time table for the shuttle service but not on the Expedia service/property information and the time the service is available is quite weird. In my case, I had to take a taxi to get to and from the hotel. And there is no other way to get to the airport, very strange considering that that’s the only reason you would book a room there. The bathroom bath was not in good condition with mold and not only. Overall the room was fine and clean. The staff very professional and gentle (even if I had to call 3 times before someone answers to my call). The restaurant decent but opens at 19:30, again not a major problem but for someone like us who wanted to go to sleep early for a very early morning flight it would have been appreciated an early opening. Ti recap: not a bad solution for if you look at an airport hotel but read carefully all the details, not just in Expedia. I forgot to mention: the 4 and something Tassa di soggiorno is not included in the cost and needs to be paid at check-it. Again not a big issue but it would be correct to clearly stated somewhere.

Free shuttle from the airport was really helpful. Breakfast buffet was decent. Restaurant for dinner was nothing special, but after arriving on a late flight, it was the only nearby option. Room was comfortable and a good size. Hotel was big- a little dated in parts (my corridor had a lot of damp in the walls) but mostly it was absolutely fine. Very convenient for the airport, and was good value for money for what I paid- I would stay here again.

They gave us a room that was supposed to be non-smoking, but the room smelled like smoke very badly it was hard to breathe. The door wouldn't open properly and had a mark on the floor where the door was pressed open so many times it carved an arch in the carpet. The carpet was also extremely dirty and stained. I looked in the bed and it also appeared dirty. I went to ask for a nonsmoking room since I could not breathe in there, but I was told there was nothing left at the hotel and they would send someone to air out the room. I went back to the room and now my wife had found bugs in the tracks above the drapes. I was also scratching my legs each time I entered the room and later found flea bites on my legs and arms. When I went down to tell them about the bugs and that we were ready to leave, I was finally given another room. The 2nd room was much better, but there was no air conditioning the entire time we were there. It was so hot it was hard to sleep and we were sweating the entire time. We spent the entire 2nd day out of the room just so we would not have to be in there coming back only to sleep. I have to say this was the first time I ever had where I could not wait to leave a hotel. I had picked this hotel over another one even though it cost more because I thought it would be a great way to end my vacation with an upgrade, but what happened made the end of my vacation very upsetting and wished I had not made this switch.

The room was dirty. No extra pillows. Very hot. Could not sleep because of heat. Air conditioning was turned off for the rest of the season even though it was summer like weather. Air was available at other hotels we stayed at on our trip.

The hotel was nice enough but inconvenient. It was supposed to be close to the airport but 1.5 K away and un walkable. Their shuttle doesn’t run for 6 hours in the afternoon so I had to take a 12 euro taxi. Also I had the worst pizza I ever had in Italy, like a frozen pizza.

Great hotel. Very beautiful. We only stayed one night before our flight home. Hotel isn't close to anything, but the front desk was able to call us a taxi to go down to the city center. We would stay there again and recommend.

Location is great because it is near the airport. That is the only thing going for it. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, but it is not marked so you have no way to find it. Wallpaper is coming off the walls in the hallways. Dining room does not open until 7:30 PM. Therefore, there is a line waiting to get in. Maybe if they open 1/2 hour earlier, the service would be better.
